Hello again! A Return and a thank you.

Hello all *hugs everyone* Man, I've been away from DV for waaaay too long! I'm now studying English & Creative Arts at Portsmouth University, and I'm loving every second of it. I can finally use my creative mind and have people want to listen. I'm back here for good (I wont leave again) and I thought I'd give you my LD progress since I've been away. I've been having Lucid Dreams quite a lot now and it feels absolutely amazing! I'm able to realise I am dreaming quite simply by what I see aroung me. For instance, last nite I dreamt that I was playing frisbee with my brother on the beach. I very quickily questioned my brother why I was here, then it hit me - I was dreaming. I remember struggling to even remember my dreams when I first joined this place. I kept my journal but soon gave up on it. I then nearly gave up on LDing but I stayed with it as I read the helpful advice from everyone here (thanks a lot guys). Now, I have that final feeling of achievment and before I go to bed I can now think "Hopefully another LD tonight" rather than "Please please please have a LD 2nite" (but with a real feeling of doubt inside - which is the stage I got to a times). I know I havent posted too much here, mainly because I was trying to LD myself. But now I am here to help those who are having difficulties and having their own doubts before sleeping. Don't have your doubts, follow your dreams (excuse the pun) and it WILL eventually happen. I'm still having big gaps of non-lding, but it doesnt worry me. I just look forward to the next.

Welcome back, man! Great to hear about the LD progress you've made. And your advice is spot-on. I look forward to hearing about your lucid experiences -- I'm sure you have some great ones coming!

i won't leave this place again, dont worry. I have too much to thank this place for to just leave it behind me. Every night I cant wait to see if I have LD or not. Even if don't I just wait till the next night. I want to help any "newbies" here, so if anyone wants help, just pm me. I'm not going to leave.
