      First Lucid Dream!...i think :-

Well last night i believe i had my first LD, but since it was my first one, im not positive. Heres what happened...
Last night i woke up at about 4 oclock or some time around there, so i decided to try a little WBTB. However, i did it a little differently than most of the people on this board. Instead of staying up for 30 to 40 minutes, i closed my eyes right after waking up. I saw some strange lights, dots, etc., and i could only explain what i was viewing as going in a rapid back and forth motion(if anyone understands that). My body instantly became paralyzed. BTW...that whole WBTB thing i just described has been happening frequently lately, almost once a night.
(Now can anyone tell me from experience if i was dreaming all this stuff up, if it was really happening, or if it is even possible?)

The next part was the craziest thing that i've ever experienced in my 16 year life, I was two people in my bed. We both sat up and looked at eachother . I knew i was dreaming so i tried to get out of my bed, but at first i couldnt because i was still paralyzed. But eventually i got out of my bed, walked into my hallway and did a RC by sticking my finger through my palm; it worked, i barely got the tip of my finger through however . So i walked in my parents room and saw that both my parents were in their. Then i walked outside and decided to test some stuff out, nothing special yet, just gettin a feel for things. I saw that two of my dogs got out, so i decided to put them back. And when i was putting one of them back in the yard i thought to myself, "you know what, this is a dream..." so i just threw my dog in the yard rather than walking all the way over there. I then preced to walk down my street. I attempted to make it light outside since it was still dark, but it didnt work since im such a noob . I tried to blast a whole through a wall that i walked by(street fighter style, LOL it was pretty funny), but that was a no-go as well. I continued to walk down my street to my friends house, but it was taking too long so i spun around and ended up in his garage. Then my dad's phone rang in real life and woke me up!

Now can anyone help a noob out and tell me if this was a LD, or if i just had a cool/ unique dream. Help, comments, suggestions would be much appreciated...thanks!

I forgot to mention that when i first found out i was dreaming, the whole goal of my dream was to go to my friends house and "meet" a woman by the name of Vida Guerra (some of you guys might know who that is...). Lol it was pretty funny thinking about it when i woke up.

while were on the subject, I had a dream I kinda doubt was a lucid more like, a dream about lucid dreaming haha,

I was in an area I didnt really want to be, just hanging out with my dad and then I thought... Hey, I'm dreaming ! Where should I go? I know, I should go to my sister's ! So I started spinning to get to my sister's then I went O crap ! The dream is fading ! So I started trying to rub things to keep it going, and ended the dream...

      Any thoughts?

And this brings up a question: how do you know the difference between a LD, and a dream about LDing?

      My other questions:
      1. When your using the WBTB technique, is it possible for you to nearly instanly become paralyzed?
      2. Right when i closed my eyes i think i might have gone instantly into dream phase because my body seemed to unwillingly move into a more relaxed position. So is this normal(or even possible), or was i infact dreaming?
      3. In the dream i couldnt seem to do anything spectacular(i couldnt blow a hole through the wall, summon a bike , or teleport effectively.) except for stick my finger through my palm, which was kinda releaving since i try doing it unsuccesfully so many times during the waking day. Anyways, will all of these "skills" improve while i begin to gain more experience through more LD's?

      Thanks for the help...

      Well well well.... lets see.

Easy anser is: If you conciously kno your dreaming, its lucid. Lucid meand concious(or sumtin) so as soon as you state the fact: "I'm dreaming", its lucid.

      1. We are all diffrent. Yes its possible, sounds alot like WILD, you should try WILD a few times to see of you natural at it. http://www.dreamviews.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12621

      2. Could be both, if you think you have the slightest thought that you might be dreaming, REALITY CHECK.

Good Luck! Just for the heck of it:
