      Introduction and Question

      Hello =0)

      My name is Bjandon and I am fairly new to lucid dreaming. I was introduced to the concept when I went through my OBE interest phase. I have had but one lucid dream, which lasted only a few seconds....but I'm working on having more.

      Now the question. I found out a few weeks ago that my girlfriend has astounding lucid dreaming abilities. In fact, she has never had a 'normal' dream. She will typlically lay down in bed, lucid dream for a while, black out, lucid dream some more, then wake up. Lucid dreaming is simply her natural dream state.

      Just curious...is this pretty rare? I know lucid dreaming can be common for some people but I've never heard of someone only being able to lucid dream until I met her.

      Anyway, hi...this place looks great. I hope to become involved in the community.

      Hi and welcome! although i'm kinda new here too

      Well I've been lucid dreaming since being a kid and lucid dream most of the time, I guess that since a kid I developed the ability to realize I'm dreaming most of the times I dream, but you never wake into a dream knowing your dreaming unless you wild, and I must say that out of every ten, seven dreams I have are lucids, but if I wanted I could lucid everynight, but I also like having normal dreams, since they suprise you . So I think it could be normal on her to lucid all the time, but I would recomend to let loose some dreams everyonce in a while, and I doubt she hasn't had a normal dream, I mean the name says it "normal", they always are . And congrats cause she is one in a million, if only I ever had met a girl that would lucid and have the likes of dating , its so hard to meet you people
      Here and there...

      Welcome to dream views bud, glad your here. It is very rare for people to ONLY have Lucid Dreams. I know I had many when I was kid, but not when I got older. I also wonder how much lucidity she has, because there are different levels of awareness. She must be very detailed oriented or at least attuned more than normal to objects somehow in the world around her.

      Hello, welcome here. That's cool about your girlfriend. Maybe she's some kind of Lucid Chosen one . Seriously though, I beet she's really observant and notices when things are strange. This wouuld lead to her realizing she's in a dream much faster.

      Well, she is always aware that she is dreaming. I think the only variable thing in her lucid dreams is the amount of control she has over them.

      She WILDs every time she falls asleep. Then later in the night when she lucid dreams more, she just wakes right up into the dream...doesn't even need to realize she's dreaming. *jealous*

      Wow, WILDs everytime? That must be pretty tricky, and she didn't know about Lucid Dreaming before? Wierd.

      Uh huh. It's just her brain's natural thing to do when it falls asleep. I really meant it when I said she never has normal dream sleep...where's she's not aware that she's dreaming. I wish I knew why her brain was wired up that way. I don't think it's genetic...the rest of her family doesn't lucid dream.

      She's an anomaly.
