Dream Guardian?

Last night I had my first lucid dream in months. I woke up in what looked like the Matrix loading room- all white, with a door at each end and a Morpheus-looking guy waiting for me. Now I think part of my problems with ld's is that in the back of my mind I'm always half afraid that it will turn into a lucid nightmare and I won't be able to escape. This has actually happened several times and it isn't fun. Back to my dream, I went up to the dc and asked him to stand in front of the door I just came through to get to the dream. He smiled, nodded, and went to guard the door. As it happened, that was the longest, most enjoyable ld I have ever experienced. I think it was because I placed Morpheus as a guard to my dream so nothing unpleasant could enter. Has anyone else had something similar?

wow it sounds awesome, if this can stop ufrim having nightmares, then I'd say congtrats on the Ld, and if you can continue to have MOrpheus or whoever guard that door than you experiences will get cooler and funner! good job.

I have someone who shows up in my dreams when my life events are at their craziest. It has been years since she has come to me, but I haven't really had the need for her I don't think, because I think of her as my guardian. She is about three years old and has two blonde pig tails on the sides of her head that are tied with blue and white striped scrunchies. She always wears a tiny little kid white t-shirt and a cloth diaper. But when she speaks she speaks like an old sage. The first dream I had with her was just about her. She was playing in a basement. There was a staircase that lead upstairs and at the bottom-landing there were two rooms that branched off in either direction. She was playing on the ground at the base of the stairs. With trucks or a doll or something. Her father was in the room to the right if you were coming down the stairs. I wasn't there but I was like third person you know? Anyway - the room he was in was his lab. there were beakers bubbling and he was wearing a lab coat. And something went wrong and there was an explosion and he caught on fire and she yelled "Father!" and jumped in to save him. That was the end of that dream. She came to me again in several other dreams - always in the same form. Once there were nuclear missiles headed to my hometown and everyone needed to board the trains to get away from them and it was all chaose and people screaming and you could see the missiles barrelling toward the earth, and I was lost. But she helped me find my way. Another time she and I were walking in a forest talking - I can't remember anymore about what, but we came to an ocean, and I said "there is no way we can get across" - and she said "yes there is" and she whistled and a lion came and we held onto the lion as he swam across the ocean. The water was all Van Gogh-y, which I have soemtimes and I love. Other times she has just been in the background of a scene. a perosn at a party and what not. She is the only imagined person i have ever had make multiple appearances in different dreams. Fictional characters tend to serve their function for one of my dreams but then i will never see them again. She is different though. and so she sticks out in my mind. And I like that she has a rough past and that I knew that before she offered her help to me. My mom says people like that in your dreams are called "Spirit Guides." They are people or animals you can relate to who offer guidance or direction when you need it. This little girl is mine. I call her Anastasia.
