Day to Night?

Anywoene ever notice that if your having a dream that takes place during the evening e.g (6:00pm) and carries on till the night it will never get dark and stay light ive had this many times, even when in lucid i will try and change it but will end up giving in.

Wow....I don't think I have ever even paid attention to status of time in my dreams, except to look at my watch for an RC. I need to test this. That's a neat bit of info. I wonder if is the same with everyone of if it varies from person to person..

This is the first time I have ever heard this question asked, and its a good one I relaly dont even knwo the anwser for my dreams, as I have not paied attention to the time of day changing. I will pay attention tonight and the rest of this week. I know I can change it when im lucid, but its not a gradual thing, it will just snap into a differernt time of day.

I never really thought about it either. Now that you mention it, though....... The time of day in my dreams stays constant as long as the thread of my dream stays constant. If I change locations or something dramatic occurs, then the time of day also may change. I did have a dream last week where I was aware that the night was progressing towards day, but it was only mentally. The sky didn't lighten gradually, all of a sudden it was morning when the dream required it to be. Seems my mind supplies the appropriate lighting just like it supplies all my dream senses.RC.
