      Unable to Remember

Does anybody else have trouble remembering their dreams if they are wakened by an alarm?

My alarm does not seem to have any effect on my dream recall. If I remember my dream, I turn off my alarm really fast and lay and think about my dream. I also have an alarm that gradually gets louder. I wake up right away when it is quiet. Do you have one like this...or is your's loud right from the start?

My alarm is loud right from the start and never stops until I turn it off or snooze it.

Maybe you should try one that wakes you gradually. Other than that I don't really know what to tell you. They also have ones that wake you with nature sounds. Those are cool too. They have choices on them like the ocean, rain forest, etc.

I thought that was the problem with my dream recall. It just takes time and practice.

Why sleep when you can dream?

Since I've gotten into Lucid Dreaming I've remembered about 2-4 dreams each and every night. It's been amazing, going from thinking I don't dream to this.
But yeah, try setting your alarm clock 6 hours after you go to bed, since you should be in a REM state then. If that method doesn't work, just tell yourself as you go to bed "I will dream, and I will remember my dreams" over and over, and try to make it the last thought you have before you drift off.
As long as you take this seriously, and keep it of high importance, your mind should want to remember it, making it that much easier.

      Hope I helped. ^_^'''
