Battle Of The Music Genre

All this music talk has spurred me into making a poll, I think Shadow said don't but I thought it would be a neat way to get the numbers down for future generations who look back on this and say "Well look what the poll says, it must be right!" So why not? Vote for your faviorate genre so that it can gain supremacy of it's lesser peers! LET THE BATTLE BEGIN! *Insert evil laugh*

(BTW if your exact genre ain't listed tell us what it is or vote for the one closest to it.)

I will have to go with the first 3 on that list. Im not a hater. I just cant listen to some things like country. I can even throw in some Jazz and blues once in a blue moon.

Same here. I listen to basically everything except country. My playlist is pretty ecclectic. I even listen to video game music. How nerdy is that?

You forgot a genre. Puss. My friends and I came up with that when we couldn't put a genre to all the new (*cough*crap*cough*) that's coming out now. Puss is the music that's somewhere between punk and wuss rock*. Green Day is a great example of puss. Queens of the Stone Age would be another.

*wuss rock is the stuff that wants to be rock and even tries to be rock, but can't quite reach the buttons on the amp yet. Like Creed's newest stuff. They used to rock, but now it's like they stopped trying. =(

Green days cool what about bands like sublime,311, everclear. The offspring, Motley crue. I like all the bands from Socal.

Y does every 1 associate him with 9 shots th the body and "shorty" I personnaly dont like In Da Club that much but his other songs "Rock" AHAHAHA i crack myself up somtimes.

Sorry about so many genres being bunched up together, I couldn't create any more poll options so I had to sqeeze genres together with what matched them the best.
I put Heavy metal with Rock and Punk because thats it's roots, early metal bands in the 80's like Anthrax, Overkill, Metallica, Exodus, Megadeth, Slayer and Testament got influenced by Punk and British metal (e.g Venom) Why? Because Punk Hardcore where the heaviest thing around at the time, so basicly I thought I'd bunch em' together... hope this calms your anger Paperdoll EP so you don't get something sharp and chase me down

Hm anyway the war goes well... I see Rock is winning... soon I will have an army large enough to enslave the world... oh your still reading?

Let's not get personal, though; you don't even know me. So what if I don't like the same bands you do. Music wouldn't be very interesting if everyone had the same tastes.
