My own dream band?

Last night I was dreaming that I was at my school and their was going to be a band playing in the gym.(This is probably because im going to a free concert at my friends chuch, anyone heard of a christian rock band named Pottersfield?)well when we got to the gym their were these people that looked like they were from tim's band.(the tim on the forum)probably because I had been on his band's website before I went to bed.Well anyway they started reciting a poem and I was thinking wtf are they doing?Then I yelled for them to start(im not that rude in real life)And they started singing and were some kind of metal.I bothered to tell you all this because I had never heard those songs before or the poem the dude was reciting.I was hoping that maybe It was my future band because they were awesome. Anybody know why I heard these songs without knowing them?The radio wasnt on either.

Could be, it was quite a bit of songs to. About 10 anyway. My unconcious mind must know how to combine them just right.

the beat to some of them but not the lyrics. It was funny because I was sorta in a trance watching them. The people on the other side of the gym were watching the band intently.I think they were scouts.I remember thinking "I hope these guys get signed.They sounded alot like Godsmack. Godsmack is awesome

Ha, its not like its terribly beyond the normal mind's comprehension to write a Godsmack song instantaniously... But yeah, i used to wonder: what if i woke up and my favorite band never really existed and it was my legacy to make the songs in real life.

I agree with paperdoll...i think it was just a creation of your Sub C. ...hmmm, it interests me that these songs you heard in detail, it was probably something you've been over in your head, and just variations of? err....

Music in dreams intrests me a lot. I've had a few dreams where I've heard, frankly, amazing music. I still remember bits of it but I'm no where near skilled enough to recreate it. I've heard of a lot of peopel having similar experiences, it's stunning how we can make such beautiful music out of nothing and frustrating that we can't do the same in real life (just 'on tap' like we can in dreams I mean)

I can picture these beautifully made pictures that are perfect in every way, but I just cannot damned draw them.

It's so damn frustrating to have something inside, but not being able to get it out...
