      Point of origin

This is paritally a question partially an explination of something that I recently realised that has been hapening to me in dreams my entire life. When I LD I usually have a false awakening, or my resolution goes to crap. I wake up in my bed, or in the middle of my street, and I decide to go somewhere. This is the thing I've never realized. Depending on where I go and what direction my dream has a diferent, idduno id call it a mood.
Also to bring up my question. Ive realized that the farther that I get from where I originate from the dream, the stranger and less realistic the dream gets. But if I stay in the same place, my surroundings change sightly when i glance away.

just thought i would raise this topic

Hey thats pretty interesting stuff. The most amazing thing that I captured from that is your attention to detail is extremely high. I don't know if alot of people realize it in their LD's but this is fact. When you span around at certain speeds in your LD's the Picture does become Blurred to an extent just like panning around a camera at super-speeds. But your attention to fine detail has got to be at an extremely high level to even notice this action. Sometimes we don't see it because even though we are fully aware, our consious minds are still analysising events on an illogical level. but not as great as when you are just going with the flow. The part about you moving futher away from your Dream origination point is pretty amazing. I never really focused that much on it all but Im going to start to see if the same thing happens to me. Thanks for that information.

I wonder, is it the fact that you are getting farther from the origin? Or is it that more time has elapsed?

I find that as I near the end of a long segment, things tend to become a little strange.

It is important to get into the habit of doing a REALITY CHECK right after waking up, taking a nap, or anything similar.

Seeker, I belive that it is mostly to do with distance for me, uppon reflecting on this subject more, ive realized that I rarely spend much time in one place in my dreams. That and when i do things stay allitle closer to reality. I've also come to the conclusion that any time I concentrate on keeping something the same it gets a bit fuzzy and it gradually changes.
On another note I've also found that vebal commands dont work for shit with me, they almost work the opposite of what I say or not at all. Personally I think its due to the lack of personal conviction on my part that saying something will make it happen.
