If you went back in time and killes your grandpa how would you exist if you killed your grandpa?

Answere is, you wouldnt because Time travel is impossible.

The faster you move time slows down around you. Even light is bound by time(and it travels hella fast!).
You would have to go much faster than light to slow down enough to travel through time at a negative rate (or going back in time)
Now because it is impossible for unit with mass to travel at the speed of light there is no way to send matter back in time because when you think about it there is nowhere to send it to.

Now, the slower you move the time speeds up around you. Each electron in your body is constantly moving so its impossible for you to stop moving and speed up time around you to travel into the future.

Now, if all the electrons, protons, and nuetrons in your body were to stop moving. You would be a black hole. Now black holes compress matter into what it originally is (nothing) so to go travel into the future you would basically travel into the end of the universe (and thats no fun)...

Anyway, i just had to type what ive been thinking about.

the only way time travel could be possible is if you beleive in the many universerse theory....in that case your choice of going back in time would only effect the reality you made the choice in not the totality of all realities....it's so confuseing it hurts my mind to think about it

It's not how fast you go its matter itself, so here on earth in the planets gravity well time moves at the speed it moves at. Out in space away from any gravity sources it moves faster.

You're somewhat mistaken, about Einstein proving time travel impossible. Instead, his general theory of relativity describes how matter warps space-time. It's theoretically possible to distort the space-time we live in enough to create a time-travel path (called a closed timelike curve). Walking along such a path loop, you would find your watch running forward as normal but you would eventually reach the place-time you started.

Using nonlinear light, yeah, light that curves, weird right?? but they already did it, one can twist space, normal light dosent have enough energy to do this though and we have nowhere near the capability and laser power needed to make a beam powerfull enough to accomplish this but they have found that if we used slow light we might be able to accomplish our goal.

They have already proven, that it is possible to slow light down and then return it to its normal speed.

The research group below at the Rowland institute worked on a few things, also experimented on a topic you brought up, when you near absolute zero atomic resonation a Bose-Einstein condensate forms.
A black hole forms when there is too much matter occupying a point in space time, when the gravitational forces basically tear open space and time and a singularity is born.

Sooo what's all that crap mean, yeah if you were to travel back in time and kill your grandpa it would alter that time line, not yours, your timeline has already occurred and cannot be changed, so there are multiple time lines... basically every moment there is a decision about something anything even which way an electron is going to spin the timeline branches.

The experiments proved that light could be slowed down using a medium and not empty space, light doesn't move as fast underwater than it does in air... does this mean you age slower underwater? Or that space is twisted down there?

They need to slow light down in empty space for this to work; they are still working on that... If they figure it out it would be pretty impressive.

1. they would need an anti gravity thing
2. they need all the energy of the sun from the begginning of time to now...

Close though... There are very powerfull electric geenrators on the craft, the skin is made of a radar absorbing material that also happens to be a very good dielectric.. (a material that opposes the flow of electricity)

So... Charge the leading edge of the wing to quite a few million positive volts, then charge the trailing edge with quite a few million negative volts.
What happens?
The rear of the plane wants to be where the front of the plane is and a virtual mass is created in front of the plane..

Its a glider people....

They turn off the engines once at cruising altitude and turn on the electrogravic system, voila, no heat signiature, no sound either, well probably a hum. Also explains why the planes conventional engines are so under powered and why it costs so damned much.

There are a couple articles in aviation weekly about nothrop doing antigrav R&D for commercial applications... which means the military already has it.

Dude what are you smokin ive been working for Northrop Grumman for 8 years now. I worked on different flight test projects at Edward AFB.

I know many people up thier still working on current projects.

The technology is thier but if you believe all this is in the B2 you better check your sources.

The B2 is not a space or time travel vehicle, or antigrav space vehicle its fucken killing machine a Bomber. Im not saying they dont have a capable vehicle but i know for sure its not the B2.

I only said it implements a known PROVEN premise called electrogravics. Take capacitor and induce charge = the negative pole is drawn to the positive pole.

There isint much regarding the system thats what makes it so feasable and easy to implement. From what I have read, the jet engines have been slightly modified to also be electrostatic generators, and the skin made of the radar absorbant material is widespread pubic knowledge, the fact its also has very good dielectric properties is not..Also the shape of the plane, it has a perfect shape to do this, its leading edge is huge!

I thought they finished that up some time ago the plane was unveild in 88 and finaly deployed in 93 right? Im sure there has to be updates to the plane and such... I know they reduced the weight from 376,000lbs to only 336,000lbs...20 tonns is alot of weight reduction

Im curious whats now that I got somone that works in the industry, whats the average thrust to weight ratio of military craft.. well not attack fighters just multirole bombers. and Whats the B2 sound like when it takes off? Have you been close to the leading edge of the craft is it a curved surface or angular how curved or angular is it?

Although how could we trust what you say if you work for or on a project labeled top secret for the govt? And as such you can deny it exists

What is a virtual mass? Why would it propel the plane silently?

You guys hear about the Micheal Crichton book turned movie called "Timeline?" He uses the multiple timelines principle, although what they do in one of the copies of the past affects their present.

I forget who said there wasn't gravity in spave, but there is gravity everywhere in the universe, just weak when you're far from another piece of matter. And you could travel forward in time at the cost of some time spent near a huge gravitational field. In "The Elegant Universe" it says that if you spent a year within an inch of the event horizon of a black hole, 10,000 years would pass outside of it. Pretty cool huh?

Personally, I love all the theories about time, and they all make sense a bit to me. My theory is that there isn't anything like a timeline. Phillip K. Dick thought this too. I think that there is only one moment, and it's right now.

Sometimes I wonder if we are the present, or if there is a true present past which time has not progressed. That would make us someone's past, and someone else's future. I think if I am wrong about there being only one moment, then time travel will one day be possible, once we know enough about the universe.

I must admit it is interesting, but it can easily be a hoax. I didn't notice anything I couldn't find already on the web. Kerr holes, Einstein-Rosen Bridges, hyper-space, cosmic strings, etc. What all that sounds like to me is that with sufficient technology and energy, one can travel to either the future or the past, or parallel universes.

I thought the K-Pax movie (which was based on a real "schitzophrenic's" story) was more realistic than time travel being invented by 2036. I guess all we have to do to know if the story is true is wait until 2036. Unfortunately, the military supposedly will invent this and I bet they keep it a secret so we'll never know

What makes me believe him is his mission. He says he needs to travel back in time to get the 5100 computer because it reads codes in APL, BASIC, and UNIX. Now, IBM made the 5100 computer with all these features but did not tell ANYONE, so there no way he could of known about it unless he was real...

Now. The 5100 series computer is the oldest portable computer... it should be IMPOSSIBLE to get a 5100 series computer that is in *Mint* condition like the one above.

If you did get a 5100 computer that was in *mint* condition it would have to be right off the assembly line. . . And production of the 5100 stopped in the year 1978.

Look at the venting holes at the bottom of the computer. Not a single speck of dust. That computer obviously was never turned on ONCE.

Both are the same pictures, the second one i outlined what obviously seems to be johns shadow (which he did not see when posting the picture). If john noticed his shadow he probably would not of sent the picture. This is why the shadow is so important.

After someone tells john to take a picture of the computer he says something along the lines of "ok, sure"... now the picture is so consistant of what he said. John even speaks of a orange tree near his parents house. Look at the tree!... i know it may not be orange but still...

As you can see in the first picture the computer is near a wooden house. The weather is sunny and there is a good chance it is florida like john says. The price of a 5100 computer today is 20,000$ and that is considering it is im bad condition. There is no reason at all for a florida family to go out and buy a 5100 computer, let alone a *mint* condition one.

If someone took a picture of a mint condition 5100 computer today. It would be in or near a factory. There is no reason for a mint condition 5100 computer to be anywhere near a wooden florida home...

As for that time travel guy, There was a newspaper article in the times I read a few months ago about some guy that got sent to jail for insider trading, he took a measly 800 or so dollars and turned it into a multi million dollar fortune in a matter of a couple months. He said that he was a time travler and couldent resist taking advantage of the market of the early 2000's its very unstable but if you invested in the right places you could (and did) make a fortune... but the bredth of the comapniies he invsted into would mean he would have to have his fingers in everything and ears everywhere to be inside trading... He kept pleading to be set free so he could get back to his time craft, he would not disclose its location though, i dont know whats going on with him now though... I just found it interesting as it was in the times.

As for that computer... dude you can use a vacuume to clean stuff...
and there are people out there that collect some weird stuff.. most of em old people, lots of em live in florida... old people that is.. why not a collector of old PC's?

How do you know that it is a real 5100? It's not turned on. If it was so mint, then why didn't he turn it on to prove it? Why is he outside? Because the paint was wet? If he was an IBM worker, or even a computer buff, he would know about he 5100. I think that with all the truth he probably told mixed with a little bit of cool physics theories makes an intriguing and desireably believable story.

I researched that article, and it's a hoax....I did it awhile ago because it sounded pretty amazing, but it's one of those urban legends....and the internet is the best place to get one of those going
