How often?

How often do you guys have a lucid dream and how many lucid dreams have you got before? When you become good at lucid dreaming how often do you then have a lucid dream?

I LD about once a month. Not a lot, I know. *sigh*

I have a feeling everybody's answers will be all over the place. I'm still learning, so I can only give my progress so far. When I was younger I would have an "accidental" lucid dream perhaps once every couple of years. When I joined DreamViews and actually tried having lucid dreams on a regular basis back in December, my number of lucid dreams per month has been as follows: [list][*]December 2005: 4[*]January 2006: 7[*]February 2006: 8[*]March 2006 (so far): 5 [list] That's probably a bit too early to draw conclusions. Note that this count includes all lucid dreams, even those that were too short to do anything useful or those that ended immediately upon lucidity.

my dream journal is pretty disorganized in its beginnings, so i don't have the exact dates for entries in december-halfway through january. i had the second lucid of my life around dec 1. dec 1- jan 1= 15 lucids jan 1-feb 1 = 11 lucids feb 1-mar 1= 13 lucids mar 1-mar 9= 5 lucids (approximately 15 if i maintain this average for the rest of the month) keep in mind about 85% of these are quite short (between 1-25 seconds), especially in december. so it seems i average a lucid almost once every two days. though keep in mind i only have had a handful that were fairly long and realistic, and only one that was lifelike. so these numbers suprise even me, and it certainly doesn't feel like i lucid about 13 times a month on average...again, because most have been really short up til now.

If I discount the ones where I wake up as soon as I become lucid, I've had very few until recently. For the past 2 weeks I've had one per week, and I think I had one sometime in january. I also had a long and vivid one in december, but I didn't do anything with it so I'm not counting that one.

I've had about 5 total. I would be having more and more, but I'm having a tough time in school right now and it tends to cause nervousness and anxiety which are the bane of a lucid dreamer. So yeah, I've been going through a severe dry spell. Once school is out though I plan on having several.

I have never attempted to count them, so I have no idea how many I've had in total. But it's about 1-2/week. During this week I've had 5, altough three of them were pretty short.
