      Lucid Dreaming Guide! Feedback Wanted

Lucid dreaming and all it entails interests me, so I wrote an article about it http://www.improve-iq.com/luciditytechniques.html

Improvement is needed though, therefore I would like some constructive criticism.
It makes sense that somebody would be able to give me tips for enhancing this article because I'm relatively new to lucid dreaming and my knowledge is a little gray in certain areas.

Welcome, Valintine! Looks like you're on the right track with your article (though I didn't get a chance to read it all the way through). Have you read through all the Dream Views articles and tutorials yet? You may find more info to add from there (in your own words, of course). But it's nice to see another experienced LD'er among us!

I find that writing articles and educational guides let's me better understand what I'm writing about. Often, a lot of research is put into the guide so you can so learn more as you write. I've written about 20 educational guides for the veterinary hospital I work for, and I feel like I can better explain the information to people when they ask. So it's win-win for everyone!

Well done, and Good Luck with everything.

      Nice Job

I read your article and found it quite informative. I am new to this forum but not new to Lucid Dreaming eventhough before I came to DV I didn't even know there was a name for this.
If I had never had a Lucis Dream and I read your article I might be asking questions like:

What's the advantage of a LD?
      Are there any side effects?
Is this a steping stone to more controlables aspect of ourselves that we never new exsisted?
Is doing this helping me to sleep better or worse?

Hope this helps. Again nice work.

This looks like a very good (and simple) guide. Many other guides are too complicated, which puts me (and probably other people) off.

I would go into more detail about Reality Checks/Reality Tests, perhaps showing different ways of doing so, (maybe with a few illustrations beside). E.g. putting your finger through the palm of your hand etc.

It's true, oddly enough. One of the best methods for attempting to understand a given topic is by trying to explain it to someone else (both parties benefit).

On a side note: I have a theory about cats... They are like attractive women! If you chase them they run away. If you act indifferent and ignore them, they can't stop themselves from becoming interested in you. When you mix this with confident flirting, you get serious chemistry (...Hmm, Now I'm just talking about females, better get back on track ).

Yes, these are the sort of queries many readers would want to know about. I must write another page expounding further on some of the questions you quoted, in addition to any other quality feedback I get from this forum.

I try my best to achieve simplicity, isn't always easy.

Actually an illustration would be a fine idea. However, I won't bother with more detail about Reality Checks/Reality Tests, I will probably just refine what I have wrote into a few concise sentences.

Very true observations! Most people don't understand the way cats think (and women for that matter), so they say cats are aloof. You just have to know how to interact with them. It's easy enough. Anyway, sorry - didn't mean to sidetrack the thread.
