Most of the tracts are the same info that’s in the book. But he does try to put you on a little hypnosis trip and a few cool background sounds. I can't Wild so far and haven’t listened to it lately. PS my copy had a skipping noise at one part and the library was out of them, so I just forgot about it. .bump..

I have heard one of Stephen LaBerge's trance induction things which I think is from that CD. I really like it. As far as I know it hasn't done much to induce LDs, but it makes me really relaxed so I fall asleep easily, so it might be good for WILD and stuff. Also I find his voice somewhat amusing which is always a plus.

I have LaBerge's trance induction tracks too, but I found them very useful for inducing LDs. I had success most of the times I used them. It must vary from person to person, but I recommend giving them a try.

I had a few Tai Chi meditation and relaxation MP3's recently, of about 2 hours in length. It's a series of easy-listening drones with some slow, mild chanting. It's tempo is apparently the perfect speed to synchronise your heart-beat to, and thus bring you into a meditated/relaxed state.

      It never worked for me.

In my opinion and experience so far, I found audio course to offer not much more than what you can read from the books. If it's just an intellectual understanding, it won't do much more good, unless you understand yourself to be more audibly inclined to learn. If it's for something sensual like a relaxation CD or hypnosis, of course audio will have an advantage. The problem is the pricing. Personal growth courses cost so damn much in retrospect, I'd much rather have spent a lot of that time just chilling with friends rather than try to make myself better.

Thanks all who have replied, i have orderd the book from amazon, being able to read it in bed insted of on the web site will be more convenient (pc is a bit heavy on my lap)

I have downloaded some other trance type stuff, whoshing sounds etc and burnt them to cd, one did nothing for me (abyss) the other one put me to sleep (transcendence), it was most strange, but efective

Does anyone know if you can download LaBerge's cd from a download program, for example Kazaa, Emule, Soulseek, Morpheus, Imesh?

      Thx

Nice to see some more swiss people on the forum. I was also searching for books about lucid dreaming and found some at www.bol.ch.

You can also order "Lucid Dreaming" from Stephen LaBerge (incl. CD-Rom) there. Try this link

      laberge's CD

      Hi
Does the CD help with dream recall because I had LaBerge's book 'Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming' but had problems with dream recall and found all the exercises a bit overwhelming, would the new 'Lucid Dreaming' book be worth buying for me, do you think?
      Thanks from

I really like the book....Still...I don't know about the CD. A friend bought me the book at a secondhand book store, and the cd wasn't with it. The previous owner must have liked it.

I don't know if the CD tracks help with recall since I've never really had a problem with that, but the trance induction track works pretty well for me. I usually get dream-initiated LDs when I use it.

La Berge's CDs work, but you gotta listen to them several times. Take them seriously and remember that the hypnotic suggestion works best when you think that nothing has happened. However dont expect instant LDs from listening to a couple of CDs... They are just helpful
