I already had LaBerge's Exploring the world of Lucid Dreaming, and his other one which I think is just called Lucid Dreaming. |

Ignorant bliss is an oxymoron; but so is miserable truth.
I found out a little more about the oil. It's clary sage oil, mixed in grapeseed oil. The clary sage is the part meant to be useful to lucid dreaming. From what I've read, clary sage is a herb, often used in aromatherapy for its calming effect. I haven't found anything about it directly linked to dreaming though. |

Sorry it's been so long. My reading schedule was completely disrupted by the release of the newest Haryr Potter book last week. |

Malcolm Godwin's book is really interesting. It focusses a lot on the mystical views on lucid dreaming. It is also full of phenomenal paintings. It is one of the best art books I own. |

You are dreaming right now.

cool. I wonder, do the books say anything new that cannot be found on the internet? for me there is already too much info on the web about this stuff. but maybe its good to have a book and read a couple of pages each night... maybe it like "pushes u forward", or? |

Be Here Now
If anyone's interested in the age of the books, I read in The Lucid Dreaming Kit that 'Creative Dreaming' by Patricia Garfield came out in 1974. The copy of The Lucid Dreaming Kit that I have was published in 2000, but I believe it first came out in 1998. 'The Lucid Dreamer' by Malcolm Godwin came out in 1994. |

If you want the definitive book on Lucid Dreaming, the granddaddy written before all the other books, you should check out “Lucid Dreams” by Celia Green, it took me ages to find but i managed to find it one day in a very old bookshop….. |

Actually, I think that book was mentioned in The Lucid Dreaming Kit, and I was going to look into getting it. |

The Lucid Dreaming Kit is great. The book is very informative, and although it contains a small amount of information covered in EtWoLD, it also contains a library of other knowledge. It contains a lot of ideas that haven't actually been brought up much on this board, so I'll share some of that with you tomorrow. |

Hey dudes |

Hey dude, it isn't necessary to read EWOLD cover to cover (though I ensure you it will greatly increase your understanding of lucid dreaming and hence increase your lucid dream frequency). You do not have to do each exercise. The book is neatly organized so you can access the table of contents to refer to any particular confusion you might have without having to do all those pesky exercises! |
