      I was an... ARM?!

-Non-Lucid Dream (After two days of trying to be more aware of my surroundings in Real-Life, Lucid Living, although I've never had a lucid dream yet):

I'm not exactly sure if it was a battle.. or something that caused this (in my dream), but.. I remember being in the form of an ARM(?).

It was a really strange feeling because as I.. 'lay' there, I felt a strange 'awareness' of myself / surrounding location.
And I was thinking, how could I possibly be still alive? / be able to still see the surrounding?, after all I'm just an arm.

All the while, I was losing feeling.. in my arm (er, well, I WAS the arm), since blood was probably pouring out of me. There were also other 'people' there, that had some sort of body part missing.

And in the end, I think us 'people' merged to form one complete human (by sewing 'us' together, somehow)

... -Strange dream or what? Has anyone been a body part before?

EDIT: I feel that I'm gaining progress with this Lucid Living tech... since it's the first time I felt that way in a dream (that strange 'awareness').

Gwendolyn, I've had that happen to me as well. It's like watching TV and then suddenly being the TV screen, really weird.

      lol weird

yeah, often in dreams you are a spectator of yourself. Or you are like a car or something. I do wonder if people that never watch tv have that too. I mean it's not 'natural' that you see yourself, like how the 'camera' works in dreams.

Anyhow, funny Try dancing next time you are an arm ^__^

Lol. It was pretty strange. It sounds like that our experiences were very similar.

Ah, cool... kinda like an OBE. I've never had anything close to that-- I hope I have one tonight.
Cool idea, hope you become lucid soon!

I can remember looking at a mirror sure there was something wrong with me.

It was only when I woke up I realised I dreamt my head was on backwards.

Not exactly the same, but it was weird as I could 'see' out the back of my head without there being any eyes there.
