Thread: Lucid Dreaming Kit?

Hi everyone! This is my first post here. I'm excited about joining your community. Lucid dreaming has fascinated me ever since I first heard about it. I'll be making a formal introduction in the Newbie Zone soon, but I wanted to find out about this first.

While doing a Google search for 'lucid dreaming' a few days ago, I noticed a sponsored link for this site: http://www.lucid-dreaming-kit.com/lucid-dreaming/

I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of Bradley Thompson before, or used his kit. Is it actually worth the money? Is it a scam? The construction of the website is similar to many others on the net that prey on foolish people who will buy anything. The fact that there is an affiliate program raises some flags in my mind too. I performed a whois on the website.

So what do you guys think? To good to be true? Thanks.

I have seen that website before and it makes some pretty impressive claims. I considered buying it once, but it $60 seemed rather steep for an unproven solution. I bet much of what comes with the kit can be found on this site for free. If you are just starting out, you want to read Exploring the World of Lucid Dreams by Steven LaBerge which you can get for under $10. He was the one who did much of the initial research and whatever comes with that kit is probably based on his methods.

it's a scam. all you need for lucid dreaming is a pad of paper, pen/pencil and dedication.

It could work, but I wouldn't spend $60 on it. As has already been said, all you need is determination. LDing isn't really something you can take shortcuts with. And keep in mind that everyone is different, so a kit like this isn't a cure-all.

All you need is:

- Exploring the world of Lucid Dreaming by Steven LaBerge (Highly Recommend but optional )
- Notebook
- Pen/ Pencil

There, just saved you $60.

Save your money and read the DV Tutorials - there are no short cuts for Lucid Dreaming, even the Novadreamer and other induction devices require mental preperation and an ability to recognize the dream world that can only be acquired through practice.

Sounds like a rip off. Don't fall for that scam.
