My first LD fit this description. In it, I was in this grocery store that I really hated. I had been in it that day, with my father, and I had felt very uncomfortable. My dream was reinacting this scene, and I came to realize that I was dreaming. I looked at my hands, and looked at other places within the dreamscene. Anyway, I just remember being so thrilled with my lucidity that I stood shouting at the top of my lungs, "I'm Dreaming". I woke up feeling awesome, though I am not sure why.

Does anyone else find that they have this wonderful feeling of, well... 'purpose', when waking up from some dreams?

I'm talking about 'mission dreams' here... I'm not sure if you guys get them, but basically you have to save the world in some mysterious fashion or other, and you go on a kind of adventure.

It's sort of hard to explain the feeling... do you know what I'm talking about?

I certainally hope so, otherwise I might end up looking even weirder than usual. d¬_¬b

I remember a dream of great joy that i had not so long ago. I wasn't lucid, but that doesn't even matter.

I don't know why, where, or how, but i was hiding in a building from a bunch of people who wanted my blood. I may have been hiding with others too, but either way i was trapped. It was a long time before i could get out, but when i did i was SO happy. I remember walking out into the sun, and there were others walking out too. It reminds me, actually, of being dismissed from school when all the kids would run/walk to their waiting parents. It was exactly like this. My family was waiting for me, and as i was walking away from the building i just started crying. That feeling of freedom was just so overwhelming. Even when i woke up from the dream i was on the verge of tears for several minutes. It was fantastic.

For me, it's always the romantic ones. I won't point any in particular, but there were certain ones where I felt really romantic and sensual feelings for a girl, (and people get this a lot too) it's usually a girl I have no romantic interest in whatsoever. I wake up feeling weird, but with insights, wondering about the nature of relationships, and that it's about the feeling, not just the other person? Anyway, it was mind opening..oh, and warm feeling inducing too.
naturals are what we call people who did all the right things accidentally

I've had that happen before. They are always really strange for me, but they leave me feeling good when I awake.

I've had similar experiences. I can remember one dream in particular where i was kissing a girl i've never seen before, and while we were kissing there was just this tremendously fantastic feeling about it.

This is kinda of wierd but here we go:
I was a teenager maybe 13, 14 when I had this dream. I was at my school at night and there were alot of people gather at a area outside the back of the school standing around but away from three people in hooded robes. As I approached the front of the crowd I learned that these where people from another planet and they were looking or wanted to interact with anyone open for it. I walked straight up to them and told them that I wasn't afraid and that I wanted to learn anything that they might wish to share.
The three people in the robes all looked quite old with pail blue skin and sort of wrinkle. the weird thing about them was that they did not have teeth, they had this electric blue electricity looking lines in their mouths that gave an outline of where their teeth would be if they had them.
Only one talked to me and instructed me to go onto the near by playing field and sit in the chair there. They were going to show me something or take me somewhere to show me something, but i was not to be afraid, and I wasn't. The chair was more then just a seat. It was a device of some sort with almost a thorn size seat on top. I sat in it and it began to turn/spin, slow at first then faster until I could not make out what I was looking at. When it started to stop spinning I could see that I was not outside at school, but in doors in a kitchen of which I didn't recognize. No one was there so i got out of the chair and walked into the living room, again one which I can't recall, and there was a TV playing and when I looked at the program I saw a man playing volley ball with a lion. The man was dressed weird and the lion was behaving just like a wild animal but when the ball came over the net to him, he would return it with great control. As I watched them play I realized that I was not on earth but somewhere else and that the lion was still a beast but not dumb in fact quite intelligent. We on earth just haven't learned to communicate on a universal level.
When I awoke I could not get this dream out of my head and still can't, yet the concept fills me with much inner peace. May that things are different somewhere else and could be here also.

The first dream that comes to mind is my first lucid. Even now, that one remains my most vivid and controlled luced. I found myself in the garden outside my house, and immediately knew that I was dreaming. I could feel the cool, comfortable air of a summer night, and I could see everything so clearly - the lights on the horizon were so beautiful! And I didn't even need my glasses. Then, I jumped up into the air and floated about 20 feet off the ground. I spent a few minutes spinning and flipping before I got distracted and the dream became somewhat less interesting. The feeling I had when I woke up was absolutely incredible, like I had overcome this hurdle and now had so many more options.

Usually, though, that warm feeling is triggerred by romantic dreams. If someone who I love is just in my dream, I can wake up with that feeling. It's nice.
Well life is short, so love the one ya' got, 'cause you might get run over or you might get shot.
