Heh sense iv herd about LDing i have gotten many ppl interested and found out a few of them already do it. Most aren't mature enough to have patience or be respectful on forums though so many are just like "i want a LD so badly" but they don't fee like keeping a DJ, or doing any kind of WBTB or anything. But a few days ago we had to do a report on "anything" and i did LDing. Sure enough i got a teacher interested. Tell the world, the more people do this the more popular it will become, the more technical advancements made and induction techniques. [b]{just spelled checked for ya bud } -barbizzle

I usually don't bitch about this, but you might wanna run a spell check the next time you post a message. I mean, it's really annoying to go through a post with so many errors... With that being said, i totally agree with you. Lucid dreams should definitly be known to the mainstream public, so Lets spread the word...

Seriously. I don't understand how this isn't more main-stream. Well, actually I do, people are lazy :-p it's a lot of work, and most people would rather just watch TV. I like to mention dreams I have to people sometimes, which usually leads into a whole long discussion about dreams, and then afterwards they go whoa that's cool! and go back to watching TV or whatever haha. Although, I kind of take pride in the fact that it takes more effort than most people are willing to put in.

LDs are mind expanding. How could there be people who don't know. I do talk about it a lot. Just a few weeks ago in my high school psychology class, I gave a presentation on LDing and gave Dream Views as a link related to this topic.....Needless to say, I hope someone got interested!

Lucid Dreaming is the ultimate test of utter laziness. What else are you going to do as you fall asleep? Twiddle your thumbs? Pah! Has lucid Dreaming ever made the news I wonder? i think we should have a huge gathering that will get on the news so we can spread our word without having to hand out leaflets - People would treat us like Jehova's Witnesses *shudder* But seriously, its going to sound so difficult, because we still have a generation of people who remember the Hippies... Maybe our children's generation will be the first society to take it on. and sort out the pension system over here (I hope!)

yeah sorry for the spelling, ill try and run check nexttime, i have a broken hand so its a little hard. Besides the fact that i can't spell for my life. I have a friend who quit school to be home schooled in the 6th grade. He was never home schooled and went to GED classes for 6weeks and passed, hes always correcting my spelling/grammar even though he hasnt read a book in like 7years lol.

I know more and more people are learning about lucid dreaming. Its becomming more main streem all the time. there more people know about it, the more they tell others... someday it will be huge. some time in the next decade. i can feel it.

I think it would be cool if more people knew about lucid dreaming. [/obvious] I mean, there are times I really want to share a dream I've had with somebody but a lot of them just aren't inclined toward the conversation. However, if I want to tell somebody about lucid dreaming, often I'll look for a point in a conversation where I can compare (loosely) a dream I've had. Then I usually encourage the continuation of the conversation and eventually ask them if they know when they're dreaming. Last semester, though, for a final project when I was writing a short story in Russian, I included some information about WILDing. Unfortunately she went on sabbatical so I haven't been able to get that back from her.

I think you guyz forgot an important point... Did youre parents EVER talked to you about dreaming??? kids are the more inclined to dreams, Ld or ne thing that may look "crazy" or "anormal", think how you will raise youre kids conciousness in the next generation if every one know , as a minimum, the basics on this main idea.

Awareness of lucid dreaming is growing, yes. But it will never be "huge." Laziness issues aside, the fact is that most people simply don't care.

The beauty of in-direct non-verbal conversation is that you have all the time in the world to frase what you are saying. Anyhow. *Hops off the spelling-bashing-train* Actually 'we' should tell more people. I am sure that if everyone Knew about lucid dreaming, at least 10% would Try it, and 1% actually keep it up. That would mean millions of people, instead of the -what, 10 0000 people that now LD? SO! YELL IT OFF THE ROOFS. Only I think some people would think I am weird. I don't have to balls to yell off roofs.

My mum thinks all this stuff is weird! My dad is more open minded, so he is someone i can talk to about it (even though he doesn't know much about it). The next time I have to do an english oral exam I will do it on LDing!

I think I'll teach lucid dreaming to my kids (as soon as I get some), they will thank me I think this could be done by asking them every morning if they had any dreams... Also, just concretely telling them about it. For example that they can join every cartoon hero on their dangerous mission and stuff... You cannot learn lucid dreaming too early...

Well, out of my family I'm the most interested in dreams. I've talked with my parents a little bit and I know that they don't mind, mainly because they know me. They know I'm not trying to do anything wrong or wierd with it. I think the thing is, as was said, most people don't really care. Dreams aren't that important to them. With our imagination-squelching society, though, that's no wonder. But I agree that if I have kids, I'll tell them about LDing, though probably first as a cure for nightmares and then segue into controlling their dreams. -Amé

For mine, my parents never talked much about dreams but ive been interested by a friend talking about afterlife or spirits (he didnt knew much at this point too). I've schearched a little for informations and gived up, than nded on a post on yahooka about LD . ne way I really agree that more people should accept this has a normal subject for a discution. These beleifs must not be forgiven. (sry for any misspell I didnt write english for so long now )

My mam is a childminder, the kid who has been coming the longest told me he was having nightmares. So I have taught him how to get rid of nightmares and will start teaching him about LDing soon. He has been coming to mine for so long that he is like a little brother or something now. Actually some of the younger kids seem convinced that I am there big brother
