What kind of sleeper are you?

This is a interesting question, and with the results we could be able to hopefully find some sort of relation between the type of sleep, and the frequency or intensity of lucidity....
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...

I'm not exactly sure, but I'm guessing I'm around average. I can sleep though most noises, although I'll usually wake up the instant someone touches my door or comes in my room.

I am about the same as redstar. I don't really wake up much at night but if anyone opens my door or comes in I wake up instantly. Same for most things, but if there was like thunder or something I won't wake up.

I guess I'm very light sleeper.
I wake up every 2 hours. (luckily at the end of every REM cycle!)
I can sleep through some noises tho.

You can hit me in the face with a sledge hammer made of naked women and jello and not wake me.

If you do manage to wake me for the sheer purpose of annoying me i will most likely stop at nothing to kill you.

My friends would poke my face... i would wake up and punch the closest person next to me. I can be very mean. hehe

      as for me

I put intermediate because I can be a very deep sleeper once I get to sleep. But sometimes it's hard for me to get to sleep. Yeah, people coming in my room or touching me usually wakes me up too. But whenever I wake up, I'm usually in a sleepy haze. I can't see well before putting my glasses on either, so that helps the haziness. For a while, several months back, I was training myself to wake up very easily, often at the end of REM cycles. And that helped me remember my dreams, although it didn't always help lucidity neccessarily. Well, carry on.
Just a friendly reminder to do a reality check. : ) Are you dreaming? How do you know?

I'm a very light sleeper. Bad because I'm always tired and in need of sleep... Good because I have excellent dream recall. If I want a good knock-out sleep, I drink booze or take cough medicine. it's the only way for me to get any rest.

      Blissful

...and really it depends on the night, some nights a pin drop could wake me, but those nights that i stay up 2-3 days before sleeping, nothing can wake me

I am an ultra-deep sleeper. Believe it or not, one day there was a marching band playing outside my house, and I didn't wake up.

I'm a log. Hardly anything will wake me up... especially if I drank that night or smoked out... I sleep "LIKE A BABY!!!"
      Early Morning Moment,
      A Glimpse of Joy,
But soon it's Over, and I return to Dust...

I'm not sure what kind of sleeper I am.
I sometimes have alot of trouble sleeping, I used to have alot of trouble as a kid, but now i'm ok. I also used to move alot in my sleep, Dont really know if I do that today.

No, drooling and waking up in the middle of the night screaming about some petty need.

Good funny story: My annoying brother... older than me... sometimes acts really gay... I use "sometimes" loosely... One time I had blankets wrapped around my bed (a bunk bed) and he peeked in just to piss me off. I woke up and punched him in the face. He didn't know what was coming so he got pissed. I laughed so hard I pissed my pants.

You used the word 'piss' two times in that sentence, under different context.

anybody know what it means the difference between heavy sleeper and light sleeper in terms of doing lucid dreaming? I really have no idea but I am curious to hear what people think.

To me I think it is quite variable, I mean sometimes I am really really deep sleeper (like waaayy out there in a lucid dream) and other times I wake up hearing a cat or small animal move outside... any ideas?
