Wait... melatonin is supposed to cause more vivid dreams?

Odd, I've had hardly any dreams at all since I began taking it. But, I have been getting to sleep easier; getting to sleep has always been a problem for me. So there's a downside and and upside. :/

If I continue to not remember my dreams, I think I'll reconsider taking the stuff...

Melatonin causes EXTREMELY vivid and detailed dreams.
The thing is - you have to wake up during or shortly after REM period.
You may try setting alarm or something...

melantonin did nothing for me except cause me to be a bit drowsy the next day. even tried timing it with REM cycles. if it works for you go for it, but if not, i'd move on and stick to your regular technique you use to induce LD.

I don't have a normal way of inducing LDs. I haven't even had one yet. I'm not using melatonin to help my LDing, just to aid in getting to sleep. But I'm concerned if it's interfering with my dream recall.

First nights I used it I noticed reduced dream recall, but then it went to normal...
