      Dream sports

Anybody played any sports in a dream/LD?

I remember playing football in a normal dream.
Tonight I played a mix of soccer and baseball in a LD. But I cheated
I just picked up the ball with my will and threw it at the target. It was so fun.

yeah that is a fav LD sport for me too

let's see, i've done kung-fu, breakdancing, lacrosse, horse-back riding and other misc sports while lucid dreaming. by far the most fun and fantastic would have to be the making love while flying and spinning varieties... Next would be the all-out kung-fu brawls with tons of baddies.

it's amazing the stuff you can do in a lucid dream...

Today, I used kung fu to beat up some executives types. I just wish they would have fought back, you know like a fight in the Matrix. It was fun though, I was finally able to use bullet-time(slowing time down)while fighting....

That is one of my fav sports in the dream world! I think it counts!

No seriously... I have never played "sports" in my dreams! I guess if it is a big part of your life then you will dream about it. Haven't played sports since High School. Oh well might be fun!

I had another LD in which I played a mix of football and basketball.
It was so great! I used superpowers to control the ball's movement and perform 20ft high jumps...

I've snowboarded on a halfpipe once. Twas real cold wiv real snow in the mountains somewhere, and there was lots of peoples walking from the top cheering.

I remember then waking up and rescuing my sisters skateboard from the shed, but found i had fuck all balance/co-ordination ability!

I have read that if you get good enough at Lucid dreaming you can create an imaginary room in which you would visit opon becoming lucid where the dreamscape is so stable you could actually practice, for example, your golf swing. And since you have achieved such stability you can use repetition to correct errors, hence -practice.
I'm sure there are other ways as well but this was just one individuals way of improving his game.
I'm so far from that kind of stability I can barely imagine.

You would have to be pretty pretty great at lucid dreaming, I presume, to be able to do that, without having gravity problems and just general dream chaos insueing...

Dreamer: I guess I'll practice some golf
Person 1: How come you are playing golf with a weiner?
Dreamer: No I'm not *looks at his club*...hmmm...guess I am...
Person 2: I think you could still play it that way...

      Ok, that truely sucked......
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up

Make another bad joke like that and Paperdoll will rip your head off and use it for a golf ball. I know she will (I bribed her).
