      Obvious dreamsign

Had a good set of dreams last night, none lucid (I tried)

I had a very real false awakening in which I proceeded to do my daily routine, however I kept saying to myself "this has got to be a dream". I went around my house checking stuff out for any descrepencies to reality and eventually made my way outside where I saw my mother taking out, wetting and laying down wallpaper all over my father's motercycle with a giant paintbrush. Yet it didn't click heh, doh

what are some of your obvious but missed dreamsigns?

The ones I feel stupid for missing are the dreams in which I'm playing soccer (season was over in November), going to my old high school (graduated a month ago), or driving in my old car (sold it last year)

"In my nightmare, I feel so alive
      In my dreamscape, escapades
I make the grade, I save the day."
      - Eve 6, Nightmare

      "And through it all
How could you cry for me?
Cause I don't feel bad about it.
      So shut your eyes,
      Kiss me goodbye,
      And sleep.
      Just sleep.

      The hardest part's
The awful things that I've seen."
      -My Chemical Romance, Sleep

Most common for me is not being where I'm supposed to be and being with people I'm not supposed to be with (friends and family I don't see regularly anymore). Lately I haven't gotten any "this is strange" feelings. Despite not being lucid they're still pretty vivid and convincing, I can see why I'm being fooled. Yet in similar dreams I figured it out. Hmm.
