      Meditation of a Daydream

I’ve found a manner of meditation in which the user focuses on creating a very realistic daydream. I’ve verified that the method is extremely good for finding artistic inspiration and ideas, especially when it comes to landscape drawing. It involves getting into a typical lotus position and meditating with one’s eyes closed. In order for this to work, one must first produce absolute silence and lack of sensation. When you begin to daydream, let the thoughts of the landscape and characters simply flow to you. Do not discriminate towards design and traverse the area either through flight or foot. You may be surprised at what you find and the world depicted in the daydream. In order to immerse yourself further, attempt to place all of your senses into the dream, including such senses as taste and touch. When you have finished, it would be logical to record your sittings in some artwork. I’ve found great results with this; the last place I visited in this form of meditation was a town similar to a European city during the Victorian Age.

Sounds pretty intense...it would work good for those who like those sexual fantasies.

But seriously, whatever gets your brain working in a more creative way is beneficial to lucid dreaming and controlling that lucidity once obtained.

      peace.

I've had this happen before. I think I posted about it in a thread titled "Questioning the mechanincs of Dreaming", or something like that.

I started in a jungle with a giant ape, and ended up growing super long arms and using them as crutches to escape. I could literally feel the swinging motion too, which was odd.

Then the scene later changed to a railroad on a curve within a mountain. A small car went crashing into a train filled with an explosive. The explosion came flying from the tunnel and sent me flying back into the mountain. Much like the swinging effect, I could feel that too.
