I've only done one wild successfully and I didn't have sleep parlaysis, essentially I just fell asleep quickly without losing conciousness. When I did this I blacked out of conciousness for a few seconds and then faded into a dream with quite a (woah) feeling |

In MY two WILDs, I didn't black out, at least not from memory. Completely smooth transition. Got all the tinglies, and my dream body just rose up offa the bed, stood up, and there I was! There's more to it than that... it was a completely weird, indescribable feeling, like... yeah... |

I had only one WILD for now, there was no blackout (at least I don't remember it). I was still in my bed in the dream, but the lights were on and the window was open (strange things since I was still in bed) and I did a nose RC since it didn't look like a dream... but it was! I was feeling sleepy though, I moved very slowly and I had a great difficulty keeping my eyes open, fact that led me to wake up quite fast while trying to get out of bed... |

I have a follow up question that relates. I think I know the answer, but I couldn't find any material to support my claim. When you are initiating a WILD, are you essentially forcing your mind through the initial stages of sleep so that when you finally fall asleep you'll fall straight into the REM phase? |
