I was wondering if it is possible to dream about lucid dreaming, but not actually be lucid dreaming?

I hear that is it....but i dont think i have ever experienced it. Do you think that you had a dream of lucid dreaming? It is probably possible, you would just be in the back seat not in the drivers seat during it. Do you get what im saying?

Yeah, I've heard people talk about talking about lucid dreaming in their dreams, yet not knowing they are dreaming many times. I don't remember it happening to me, but it's definitely possible, just like anything else is possible while dreaming.

Sorry, that was very random, but I had to do it.

Ive had this happen but I'm not sure if its just a very low level lucid dream. Like I'll realize Im dreaming but don't do much with it because I dont realize I'm dreaming. I dunno. Either way it's not too exciting.

It is very possible. The mind has an interesting way of playing tricks on us. When you are thinking alot about something during the day (like trying to LD) it is very likely that you can dream about lucid dreaming, or even dream that you ARE lucid dreaming without actually being lucid. Now remember, there is a BIG difference between dreaming you are on acid and being on acid. The mind works to manifest what you THINK it would be like in an LD. Tricky lil bugger.

YEP Its possible! It happend last night at my first night knowing about lucid dreaming and trying it!

Heres the part about it from my dream journal in newbie zone:

      Dream #3:
This was after I woke up at 10am and tried to return to get a dream, i was trying so hard to get a dream but i didnt feel tired.
Weird enough though i did fall asleep, but in this dream i was in my room, still thinking I was not managing to fall asleep. But now my neighbour was in my room and I wanted to tell him about Lucid Dreaming, since he didnt believe me i looked for my papers to proof it. But my papers were all scattered, i couldnt read the words on them, and i couldnt find the right page.
This is where I later woke up.

I only realised I had this dream when i looked at my papers and saw they were all still there in neat order.
This was a very tricky dream and as such i failed at recognizing it as a dream.

Dreamsigns in this dream I could have seen:
My neighbour walking into my room in the morning - 1
My neighbour being bald from his cancer period while it is no longer so - 2
The text on the papers being blurred and unreadable in daylight - 3 [/b]
