      weird lucid dreaming

I just found out about lucid dreaming yesterday when I read this site and I realized that I've had quite a few. One however, was very much stranger then the rest. I was either awake and paralysed, semi-awake where I could actually feel my body falling into sleep, or having an extremely realistic lucid dream where I was just lying in my bed wondering if I was awake or not and I kept fluctuating between these fases.
Being inside the lucid dream was okay, I felt very light and comfortable. But when I was going into the lucid state, it was a strange feeling, because usually I dont remember when or how I fall asleep, I just fall asleep, but this time I could feel myself falling asleep and was completely aware of it. It was a very odd and almost frightening feeling and that's why everytime I tried to wake myself up and then I would either 1/ wake up or 2/ wake up but then realise i wasnt really awake and that I was in a dream.
Also, when I woke up from the lucid dream I would often be in ANOTHER dream or If I actually woke up I was PARALYSED! this was amazingly freaky and it always took atleast 5-10 second before I could move again.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else has had experiences like this? I think I am going to practice some of the techniques from this site to be able to control this better.

      thanks for reading

Your first experience might have been a WILD, or a Wake Initiated/Induced Lucid Dream.
When you say you felt yourself fall asleep, I experienced this same thing on Monday of this week.
Also, for waking up inside a dream, this is called a FA, False Awakening and one should be careful of these. Always do a Reality Check when you wake up. Lastly, Sleep Paralysis is simply the body is still in REM mode, but you are awake or mostly awake. In this period, one can see the real world but hallucinate other things around it, commonly rape or abduction as fear sets in that one can't move. After bettering one's knowledge of these can give you the power to recognize and control sleep phenomena.

Has anyone else had experiences like this? Word for word what happened to me.
But still, someone can probably explain it better than I.

I would say it is a SLeep Paralysis indeed.

My whole family has experienced it and yet, I am the only Lucid Dreamer.

      So, yes, it is natural.

My experience of being trapped inside my body (body asleep, mind awake) was the scariest experience I've ever had.

I could see the room around me perfectly clearly (probably with my third eye) but I was hearing sounds, music, people talking, voices etc. etc.. Of course I couldnt stop them, and even if I knew they were hallucinations, it was impossible to wake.

I timidly flew over my body but I was so desperate to wake!!(I dont think that was an OBE though as I would have seen my body below me)

I cried for half an hour when I finally woke up.

Cool, another thing I've notice in dreams is that sound is kind of muffled like the sound of yourself talking inside your own mind, but sometimes I have dreams where I hear very loud and realistic sounds that seem very out of place, strange.

and also... hehe this is kindof embarrassing... When I sometimes have... intimate dreams that are not lucid to begin with, they sortof become partially lucid, I don''t actually realise I''m dreaming or otherwise dont really care, but I DO control what I do, though it doesnt matter since there is only one thing on my mind.

And yes, I do realise I am a perverted 16year old.
