can this get any more ironic?

ok... it's like my brain was trying, in my dream, to tell me that I was dreaming. this is so hilarious. The dream's pretty long so I'll just say the neat part...

I'm in a room with a computer. Anyways I say to Paul, a friend I found in the dream, (probably inspired by the thought of wanting to check the forum on the computer) "hey, have you ever heard of lucid dreaming? l-u-c-i-d dreaming." he says "other than right now?" I laugh, and say "maybe", in a philosophical tone. I continue "but not really. anyways it's where you are aware of when you're dreaming." He says never has he heard of it, nor has he had a lucid dream.

so, in my dream, i mention lucid dreaing, and paul even helps me by suggesting that I'm dreaming right now! Even if he has said that kind of stuff before (he was in my philosophy class) I should've realized something!!

Am I a lost cause for lucid dreaming? Can I truly be that unaware of my dreams? It's like I'm being mocked... and by myself!
      There is no spoon.

unlucky, but tis dosen't mean you're a lost cause. Even in a situation like this your brain is not questioning whether you're dreaming or not, it's simply accepting this reality. If you had a conversation about lucid dreaming would it make you reality check? I doubt it, so this really not an easy dream to become lucid from.

      Is an elaborate dream?
And if you look at your reflection
Is it all you want it to be?"

Maybe you could start RCing whenever you think of, or talk about, lucid dreaming.
