      The most horrible, confusing dream

Some nights I have dreams I remember and some I don't. I'm pretty sure this is normal though. But the other night I had this horrible dream. We were on a beach and my dad wanted me to electrocute him. I was crying really bad, and my chest was really tight. My mom kept telling me, it's what he wants. So I run off and my sister electrocutes him. Then it switches scenes totally. Me and some other girl who was my friend in my dream were at a college I'm guessing. And there is this huge pool. I had to jump into it and it would spit me out in some random place. So I jumped in and somehow ended back at the college and there was this dead horse. Well I went back inside with my friend and we went into this elevator thing. Then the elevator stops and there are two shutes. My friend told me something I don't remember. I'm not sure if I was totally lucid or not, but I know I could here myself thinking. I jumped through one of the shutes and fell into the pool. I went to the bottom of the pool and there was this big flashing sign that said GAME OVER. Then I started dreaming about the first video part of Kingdom Hearts. That's when I woke up.

      First off.....
      Welcome to dreamviews!!!!! :yumdumdoodledum:
Before you post you should have a peek round the forum, this should awnser your questions about dream recall ect, Secondly try to make your thread titles more "interesting" rather than "A dream" thres far too many topics with really unimaginative names.

Anywayz enjoy yourself and feel free to pm people for any Advice or information
Our dreams are firsthand creations, rather than residues of waking life. We have the capacity for infinite creativity.

Hi! I'm Theresa (obviously) Welcome to the forum.
That sounds like a pretty frightening dream- I absolutely hate the ones involving death of my family members; they're the worst, aren't they?
If you're looking to improve your dream recall, you should start a dream journal. It'll help you recognize the patterns and familiar occurances in your dreams so it's easier for you to become lucid.
Anyway, I hope you like it here. Any questions, feel free to PM me, too.

Gez- Thanks for the welcome and I'll be browsing the forum lots!

Theresa- I hate dreams where I have to kill people, or things, especially when it's a friend or family member. I'm gonna start a dream journal. I tried WILD, but I just couldn't stay focused..I think I'll have to practise more, lol!

While we're on the topic of death dreams, I had a dream once where I found out I had terminal cancer and was going to die. Weird, huh? It was a horrible experience at the time, but in retrospect it was really fascinating. My dream allowed me to see what my reaction to my own death would have been at that point in my life, something I could never have experienced in waking life (without actual impending death, obviously).

Good luck with the dream recall and WILDs! I'm new here too, although I do have some previous experience with lucid dreaming. Never been able to pull of a WILD, though...
