In my dream last night I tried reality checks, none of them worked so I presumed it wasn't a dream, but now that I have woken up I see that it was a dream, how come my reality checks didn't work? |

What reality checks did you do? And as for vividness and how clear a dream is it all depends. There's different levels of lucidity. Some might be blurry and unclear while others might be just as vivid on RL. You can even be lucid without being able to control the dream. I think the more lucid dreams you have the better you get at controlling yourself and the clearness of the dream your in. Practice makes perfect. Also keeping a dream journal might help in remembering the the finer details of a dream. |

I tried the finger through my palm, hand through my chest and I tried to jump out of a window, but my hand wouldn't go through my chest and my finger wouldn't go through palm and the window was locked, I forgot about it until I came on here, I got really annoyed |

Mynd you, møøse bites Kan be pretty nasti...
The only reality check I do anymore is the nose RC. It's quick and always has worked for me. |

When I become lucid I just pinch myself... Works every time |

I don't like the physical reality checks. I once had a dream where my friend had found a way to turn invisible, and I kept doing the hand reality check, but it didn't work. Since then I just sort of gave up on reality checks, but I'm doing them new now. I will plug my nose and try to inhale, and I also pull my hair to see if I feel the pain. |

I would advise you to punch a wall into a wall, but not hard. Remember that you should do reality checks while awake aswell. I have found this is a good technique; you will only feel a light pain while awake and when you are dreaming you will feel no pain at all. |
