      WILD or MILD?

im sure someones asked this thread, (and if they have sorry for my ignorance ) however, my dream recall has been getting pretty decent, multiple dreams per night, every night... even though its only short bits of dreams =

So, i've got the entire spring break (thank you god) to Mild and Wild away... I can wake up and stay awake for that half hour and go back to sleep...

so what would you suggest and why?

(also with Wild, could I expect results by the end of my spring break? in other words, a week from today if done everyday?)

it's different for everyone. since last thanksgiving i've moved into lucid dreams and i'm now getting pretty damn close to wilding... my friend who started at the same time as me still hasn't had a single ld... he's still having troubles remembering more than one dream a night. -- it's all relative to how disciplined you are and how far your mind will let you go.

trying certainly couldn’t hurt but don’t be defeated if you don’t get it right away.

maybe a better question would be, which yields better results? Or is that different with everyone as you stated? My mind is pretty open, so its pretty easy for me to tell my mind something and believe it...

as for dream recall, first night I said i'd remember a dream, I did.. pretty simple... hopefully ld'ing will be that easy hehe me thinks it wont be though =

      Why not both?

I would say that MILD's are less time consuming, easier to do in a busy day.

WILD's take little time if executed correctly. If you're easy to become calm, then this is a good way to induce a lucid dream. As opposed to MILD, which is usually spontaneous, WILD's take u in a dream more directly.

Ideally, MILD's come first, but everybody's learning curve is different.

Really, u can do both. I don't think they interfere.

      I agree with AirRick101,

MILD is easier to attain, but hey, try them both.

MILD in the middle of the night, WILD in the morning.

It took me 3 months to achieve my first WILD, but is was really worth it. WILDest thing i've ever experienced. =)

I attempted to Wild last night... got 6 hours of sleep, set my alarm clock... alarm clock went off... I got mad, fumbled around with it and went back to sleep

      progres = bad...

i'll have to give it another shot.. and this time i'll try Mild was well... and I'll try try try to force myself to get up.. (this is very hard, I can wake up after every single dream, but actually moving to write down what happened is my hard part)

      Keep at it!

I was thinking the same thing AirRock and Seeker.

MILD at night, WILD during the night, and either one in the morning.

Personally I find both more effective during the morning. Probably because it is a mix between them and the WBTB (wake-back-to-bed) method.
