Alcohol & Dreaming

For some reason, I always have the most outstanding lucid dreams when I've been drinking heavily before I hit the sack.. This one week, I had a LD everyday - plus, I'd consumed plenty of alcohol each night.. I thought maybe it was a co-incidence; but recently I've been dry as the Sahara & I've had almost no worthy dreams that I can brag about. For the next three days I'll be getting wrecked.. & believe it or not I am a little tipsy now - so, onto my point:- does drinking alcohol effect YOUR lucid dreams? I expect the effects to be the opposite for most people; I am not recommending this as a way to go lucid, this is just my personal experiences by the way.. I can't wait to hit the sack; it's a full moon aswell - I noticed. Thanks. God bless. -theyr3000.

[/b] this is the way i have had about a fourth of my lucids and just really crazy dreams in general, some nights tho it is the opposite i dont dream at all, i guess depends on how fucked up i am

I usually dream much heavier after a night of drinking, but it really depends on how much sleep I get and whether or not I've been doing anything besides drinking, as to how much I recall. I don't know if it's affected my number of lucids though.
