I have a combination of both. It usually depends on the type of dream. More often than not, I am watching myself. Sometimes I'll see things through my own eyes though. I'm actually surprised at how much it varies. Sometimes I'll be a fixed camera in the sky, sometimes it will be like playing an rpg (role playing game, where the camera is behind and follows the character). So, how do you view your dreams? |

A frusturatingly high number of my dreams are in third person. |

I always have it in first person, don't think I've ever had a third person though or atleast I can't remember if I have. |

I have never had a third person dream, I think it would be very interesting, but i don't think I would like it. For those of you who have, can you feel everything thats happening to your body?? Are all of your senses the same except sight? |

both for me. they alternate at random. sometimes, though, it will be as if I have no body, and Im observing a dream that doesnt have me in it, and doesnt have anything to do with me. Kinda like watching a movie. |

The evening hangs beneath the moon, a silver thread on darkened dune.
With closing eyes and resting head; I know that sleep is coming soon.
Upon my pillow, safe in bed,
A thousand pictures fill my head,
I cannot sleep , my mids aflight;
and yet my limbs seems made of lead. ---Whitacre's Sleep---
Sometimes if things get really bad or scary I go into 3rd person. |

If I'm having a lucid dream, or dream that I really like, I'm first person. (And can feel everything.) But when I;m just dreaming, I'm in third person... Hmm... |
|
I have had one fake lucid dream that was in first person, but except for that, all my NDs (and fake lucids) are Third Person. |

Sometimes I'm not even in my dream and am just an observor anyone else like this? |

Id say 95% of my dreams are 1st person. But that may just be because I'm so self absorbed. |
|
I think in the past most of my dreams happen in 3rd person. More recently, though, it's been first. So I guess it's pretty much just a balance between the two. It switches pretty randomly as far as I know. |
