Past Dreams Vs. Past Memories

This has been bothering me for quite a while. Every now and then I like to look back and think about very old memories, things from when before you were 4 or 5. But nowadays, I am having a great deal of trouble figuring out if what I remember are old dreams or old memories; like they are all jumbled together and theres nothing for me to use as a reference to sort them out. Has anybody else ever felt something similar to this?

Yeah, I get that sometimes. I had a lot of lucid dreams as a kid, so I tend to get things mixed up.

I've never had that problem.... My dreams are always distinctively different.
