WELL HOW DO YOU EXPECT TO HAVE A LUCID DREAM IF YOU DON'T SLEEP?!!??!?!?!?!?!?&# 33;?!
"Sarcasm is sneering, jesting, or mocking a person, situation or thing. It is strongly associated with irony, with some definitions classifying it as a type of verbal irony[1] -- stating the opposite of the intended meaning, e.g. using "that's amazing" to mean "that's awful". It is often used in a humorous manner and is expressed through vocal intonations such as over-emphasizing the actual statement or particular words."

dreamerer, if you are still confused after this, i cannot help you.
I know what sarcasm is I just didn't know you were joking jeez...
Hello,
Thank you everyone for your responses, and for your concern.
Some of you objected that I or others could become malnourished from fasting, especially if maintained for a long period. This reaction is understandable; the last thing the world needs is more hunger.
But I think that some of you misunderstood my experiment. It’s not as though I said, “only water until I dream.” I wasn’t eating solid food, it’s true. But I don’t think anyone would say that eating an apple is nutritionally very different from eating an apple pureed into apple sauce. Or between an orange and orange juice with pulp. This is how I was feeding myself during my attempt to lucid dream; I was never hungry.
Consider how frightfully un-nourishing most people’s diets are. Compare this to my so-called fast. All day I drank nothing but pure fruit and vegetable juice: pear, apple, V8 (made of lettuce, tomato, carrot, beet, celery, watercress, parsley, and spinach) strawberry-banana-mango, carrot, orange, cranberry, clementine.
If anything, I was eating better than ever. I felt fresher, reinvigorated, revitalized.
Some fast!

Yeah? Well I'm going to stop breathing until I have a lucid dream. Starting now.
And congratulations, chevalier_violet. That seems like a very interesting way to lucid dream.
And furthermore, once when I was seven ...I *gasp* I... can't... bretaathhttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt ttttttttttt
lol
Short circuits are not good things.
You see, typically electronic circuits are energized by power supply circuits that have enough capacity to run hundreds or even thousands of components. This is possible because each component has a relatively high impedance, or resistance, and whatever changes and modulations the circuit is meant to accomplish is affected by voltage changes that require relatively small swings in overall current draw.
But you are talking about a Short Circuit. Well, two things happen -- the circuit that presents the short will burn up because it will certainly draw more current, and thus more heat, then it was designed for. Secondly, the power supply that can only put out so much power without loading down, it will indeed load down and all of the other circuits and components will no longer be able to operate.
And so it is that it is nearly always understood that a Short Circuit is a Failure Mode.
It is revealing that the Lucid Dream Community, in attempting to destroy the balances of normal Dreaming, would seem to advocate a Failure Mode as a positive development.
I would suspect that it would not be healthy in the long run.
I think the book ment: Be Really Really seriously willing too. But I guess if you are willing (or crazy) enough to stop talking and eating till you *dream* then you allready were committed enough... so the book is s bunch of exagerated crap, I think :)
