Okay the Biggest problem most people who attempt WILD face is the distractive thoughts becoming more spontanious and stronger as your attention and will become weaker and you'll eventually become distracted, loose Conciousness and get dragged along in the storm of Subconcious thoughts, resulting in a non Lucid-Dream eventually.


Now I sometimes have too much thoughts r acing trough my Mind and it makes me too restless to sleep. I asked my mom how she could quiet her Mind and relax herself. She told me a sort of Hypnotic Method:

She said:''Lay in bed and relax. Visualise a Desert, Burning hot sun, heavy desertsands under your feet, walking Up and Down deserthills in Sandals. Feel the hot sand between your toes, your feet sinking away in the hot desert sand, having to walk and pull your feet out of the heavy sand which makes walking really a tougher effort, The exhausting burning hot Sun burning on your Skin, And the sun goed down gently and you're still walking untill it comes up again.''

Well she didn't word it like that. I did because I want to emphasise how important it is to visualise it all really good. Feel the wind in your face, Sand between your toes, heat of the sun..etc to make the Imagination as realistic as possible. If well done, the very Idea of walking through the soft desert sands in the burning heat of the sun should make you Tired.

This is a good Technique to calm the Mind and Relax the Body.
It has great Meditational value, yet it wasn't made up by a Buddhist monk: My mom made it up. It was a personal thing of her.

The whole idea behind this is that lately everynight I noticed I was very calm and clear Minded prior to sleep, THAT night I would have Lucid Dream. It was of because of the broadened awareness and expanded conciousness that beared with me all night till the next morning that made it easier for me to become Lucid.

It is this Mood I wish to be able to Induce with a good Mind-calmin/relaxation technique. Maybe any of your Personal techniques to calm the Mind could give me a couple of good insights to develop such a Technique.
