Seeing Writing And Numbers

Hey, I've been reading these forums for along time now, and ive noticed that everyone says that when u try to read in a dream, or look at the time, the numbers are strange looking and wrong. Well for me, whenever i dream, i can read perfectly and read the time perfectly. Last night, i had a false awakening, read the alarm clock next to my bed, and woke up. I am 100% sure that the numbers werent any different in my dream. Is this usual?

The idea of the reality check is to look at some numbers or words, look away for a few seconds and then look at the word (or number) again. Most people say that it usually changes. I believe it has something to do with the vividness of your dreams. So it's totaly possible for the numbers not to change.

hehe, i'm gonna get a little theoretical here so stick with me =D Do you actually ever see anything in a dream? Or do you simply know what you are seeing? Do you hear people talk in your dreams or do you simply understand what they are trying to say? We only see or hear what our mind makes up =P

That's very cool if you can read clearly in your dreams. I'd be very curious to know what kinds of things you end up reading in your dreams - are they simple road signs and such, or are there letters and books and magazine articles and computer screens and such?

Yeah with me when I realise I'm dreaming and I want to check, I either directly try to fly when I'm feeling bold, or I just check my watch and then check it a few seconds later and the time should be completely different, or a couple of times the numbers went weird

The numbers never look odd for me, I just have to look at them, look away, then look back and they'll be different. Like the time I had a false awakening, my alarm clock said 4, then 6, then 7.

This morning I had a dream I was at a thrift store and I was looking at an old air hockey table and the price tag said either $1.99 or $2.99.

I mean how do you know that the way you see green, is the way other people see it. Maby they see green as orange,... the truth is you will never know, the same is with sound. You don't see with your eyes, or hear with your ears. It's all made up by your brain, interpreted would be a better word.
