why are we labeled on here as a NooB?

I don't feel as if I am a lucid dreaming NooB, just curious as to why this forum feels the need to have a ranking system in place for it's members?

I do not think it is necesarily to reflect opon ones ability to Lucid dream. Some Noobies I am sure are better than some gurus. But it does sustain subtance in the forum when a person has stuck around long enough to share their expieriances and opions to have an effect on the viewers of the forum. In return they get rewarded. Not necisarily accurate but rewarding to those who have been a foundation for the forum.

Then there is post horroring. Some try to post just to get their count up.

Well...I suppose it makes sense to not have a ranking system, but if we didn't have one, it wouldn't be the same.Think of the ranking system as how new you are.But, I agree some noobs are even better than lucid-gods.

But, nobody here will judge your knowledge by your ranking, so there is no reason to complain in my opinion.

I figured that it had something to do with the amount of posts and length of your membership but wasn't sure. thanks for answering my question though,

I'm pretty sure if there wasn't a ranking system or a post count, there would only be be half as many posts. I think some people just feel good knowing they've contributed to something... why do you think i've even taken the time replying to this post?
hmm... this is my 63rd post i think. I'm just trying to get the highest rank I can in here, whether my posts mean anything or not... like this one and 90% of all my others so far.

Although, it is nice to read what others have to say... especialy if it's about dreaming.

It does have to do with post count...so think of it this way...
