In a Lucid Dream? That's a really interesting question!

What would I never do?

Go Swimming. I hate swimming.

curious?

And eh.. I don't know. I wouldn't do anything really plain. I mean stuff that can be easily done in real life.
Though there are some exceptions..

Interesting. If you don't mind my asking . . . why not? Religious reasons?

Not at all. It is Mostly religious.
I have several reasons, only a few of the most immportant ones will be placed here:

1) I am Christian to the core. I dont think God whould approve of me doing so.

2) It is essentually 'real' sex in that when lucid you 'are' having sex with someone (dosn't mater that they are from your mind, or maby even a shared dream.)

3) I link it also to masterbation, something, wich for a very personal reson i've stopped doing.

4) It would ruin the experiance for me in that when I get married my partner would be a "sloppy second" as it were.

5) Who wants to waste a dream on Sex?

That makes complete sense. It's much more noble than my desire not to swim.

It is all based on religion as far as I can see, but mind you I'm not attacking you
In fact, I really respect your decision. I don't know how, but I do.
I quoted (and thus put emphasis on) #5. I can kinda see that from your point of view, but let's say you weren't a christian and you didn't have these morals about not having sex because .. well, you being a christian and you have your morals and values.. Would you say #5 is valid? Personally, I think a dream isn't wasted on sex.

I'd kill, be known as a serial killer,be feared thru my dreamland, but I woudn't go as far as raping someone. I dunno why, I'm fine with destroying all who oppose me, watching them slowly and painfully die, but in my dream kingdom, rape would be on par with high treason. Also, I'd tell said DC all my secrets, take him/her under my wing to become lucid. And the raper would be killed personally by me. Tee hee.

I agree, I'd never rape anyone in a dream or in real life.

I'd never do anything that (within limits) violated my moral code. Ergo, I also wouldn't have sex, maliciously harm someone (without just cause), smoke (seems like it would be kind of surperfluous anyway), etc. I might try a few things some day that seem more mundane just to see what it's like to do them in a dream, but there are bigger fish to fry at the moment.

Keep in mind an adventure to save the world that involved a face-to-face confrontation with evil wouldn't necessarily be out of my jurisdiction.

like tweak said, i wouldn't want to waste a dream on something as mundane as say, practicing piano, like i've heard some people do.

i find that to be a waste of a dream because, hell you can do it in real life. and if your that into piano playing, why don't you play piano instead of going on the computer?

well... IF I didn't have those moral ristrictions and religious beliefes, then I sappose 5 wouldn't count.
But then, if when you climax in a dream the dream dies, it wouldn't seem very logical to do at the start.

Playing piano in a dream might sound boring, but imagine playing Beethovens 9th symfoni with your right hand, play Mozarts Reqium on a saxophone with your left and quote Shakespear in the same time. That ought to be a blast!!
The only measurable difference between the dream world and the regular one is whether the laws of "nature" are consistent in identical experiments.

I haven't had that many lucid dreams, but I think reading a comic is pretty useless in a dream. Maybe drinking water aswell. I don't know, I'll find out soon what's good and what's not though

For people who play piano in a lucid dream it's not really about playing the piano! It's about trying something in a dream that they know really well in waking life. How better to understand your dream world, than to do something in that world that you have vast experience with in waking life? And where that could lead... I would guess that many musicians have composed some of their music in dreams, and instead of waking to write in a dream journal they go to their instrument to play what they were playing in their dreams. Most things only seem boring because we have not yet learned enough about them.

The new evolutionary paradigm will give us the human traits of truth, of loyalty, of justice, of freedom. These will be the manifestations of the new evolution. And that is what we would hope to see from this. That would be nice.

As waves of plastic fame go out of fashion, You're going out (going out) forever unknown. These waves of plastic fame go out of fashion, You're going out (going out) forever unknown.

From above a rain of ashes descends anathema. I will remain, forever will remain. From below, in my seclusion, look up to the sky to see See paper wings and watch them burn.

I've heard a story of a master LDer on Ld4all, who had this brainwave measuring device. He went into a lucid dream and autosuggested "I'm going to let go of everything" or something like that. Suddenly his entire dream scene faded and he was pulled into a white tunnel. He felt like he was dying, somehow. He managed to wake himself up right before entering the tunnel. He checked his brainwave measuring device, and indeed: for about 5-6 secs he actually had no brain activity (0hz).

Inducing a near death experience, that's what I would never do.
