The other day i had my first ld for quite a while... I can't remember when exactly i became lucid, but when i did i enjoyed cruising around for a while, and marvelling at the fact that i was having these private thoughts while inside my dream which is itself a private thought (i was hermunculus, lol)... anyway, when i had flown around long enough, i decided to try and shoot into space. It was night time in the city i was flying around, so i looked up at the the stars, closed my eyes and sort of shot myslef into them. What was weird was that when i did this my whole body started tingling, like i had complete body "pins n needles". I stopped after a couple of moments and found myself in the same spot that i just left.
Anyway, anyone know what that tingleing could be - is it a regualr feature of certain activities, or was it something to do with my own mind in that particular instant?

It's hard to tell what that could have been. I've been experienced lots of random feelings in dreams but maybe that feeling you had was triggered by something..I don't know.

      My own experience:
I was sitting in the back of a car and a bunch of us were cruising at night. I wasn't paying attention to anything outside of the car. I suddenly felt weird and looked out the window and saw that were blasting through space. It was an incredible feeling but at the same time scarey.

Once, I had a dream that I was in my room, just sitting on the floor. When I became lucid, I stood up, and rocketed through the roof, up into space...

I've had that as well, along with other weird feelings.

Last trip I made to outerspace, started out with me jumping through the ceiling, and flying at super speeds, it was such an intense rush that I almost had to abort the lucid. There was so much turbulence, my stomach felt like it was in freefall, all while it felt like fuzzy patricles were jolting into me through my arms and legs. I couldn't even stop it immediatly, I was thinking "stop, stop, stop, slow down... slow down... come on stop, stop, stop please" until it finally ended. And then I was just floating there, in a black void, and I saw two really weird looking planets. They were neon orange/blue/red all siwrled and mixed together. I wanted to fly into one of the planets but I bounced off it like a rubber ball. But then again... I was bigger then the planet for some reason.

I don't know if feelings like this are regular. I never feel these during regular dreams. Only when I become lucid and do certain things. Or when I'm in Sleep Paralysis and occasionally feel the vibrations.

all of this sounds like what happened to me... kinda weird i guess but it felt harmless :\

The other day i fell asleep on my bed in the early evening, and i somehow maintained awareness to complete sleep. The hypnic (?) dream-like images were there and very vivid, and then after a while i felt a crackling in my head, it was really weird... i then became lucid very quickly in the following dream..... Anyone else had crackling?
