haha i would love that, have a lucid dream, then wake up and its christmas!!! w00t!

slightly off topic: dont you hate it when you dream its christmas and you wake up and its a monday...
Our dreams are firsthand creations, rather than residues of waking life. We have the capacity for infinite creativity.

*shall begin posting more often in this forum*

Not so much celebrating, but as for a cool lucid dream I would fly over to the North Pole and meet Santa just before he takes off to give out gifts to the world. Hopefully, I would be able to ride with him and help him out, thus, discovering the mechanics of his magical sleigh.

I'd take a horse-drawn sleigh ride at night through the woods and snow.
I'd go alone because I like being outside by myself, especially at night when I can stargaze.
The horse would take me out to a clearing of a frozen lake and the sky is crystal clear. I'd sit and watch the Northern Lights in the sky, while I drink hot cocoa (the Lion, Witch, Wardrobe-style).
Then I think I'd hop out of the sleigh, get a running start, jump, and fly into the night sky - hitching a ride on Santa's sleigh on the way by.

Burns, I just love this idea. It's just perfect in so many ways. After reading this I can't think of anything of my own that has as much of a Christmas/magical feel as this one.

World's biggest, fastest, highest, most insane sled ride. Not necessarily a sleigh. Not a bobsled. But a regular, wooden, buy-one-for-your-kid-at-Christmas sled. On a track that may stretch from Alaska, to Canada, Greenland, across the ocean to a snow-white Europe and a trip to the North Pole, reaching heights of 30,000ft and maybe fast enough to break the sound barrier a few times.

Burns - I love your vision.

I'd return myself to maybe six years old and refresh myself on all the magic and excitement of Christmas Eve - go to a Christmas party with all my long-gone relatives, play under the tables with my cousins...

I want that back. That's one way it could happen.

Aaaw that reminds me of the Calvin and Hobbes snowman strips.

I would totally make some of those in a dream.. and then bring them to life! Muhahahahaha

Not really because most of them would live a life of terrible pain. I mean, seriously, who's cruel enough to bring to life a snowman with a hot water bottle on his head? Or a half melted snowman?

hmm i would hijack santas sleigh and demand half of the elves be mine, after i got the contracts i would skydive out of his sleigh get my elves, and head for the south pole. with the pengiuns help we would double santas output of presents and begin a much cooler holiday.

or i could just help him out with delivering the presents, and get a nice pat on the head for my troubles i still like the skydiving out of the sleigh part though lol

Another think I'd like to do, if I get there, is visit the Nativity.

For those who care, we have all hears the story of the birth of Christ, and the three wise men, and the shepherds. Imagine being able to experience all that, even manifesting into one of those characters?

Thanks, Twoshadows and PJ! I'm really going to try to incubate it and actually have that dream.

This gave me chills - I know exactly what you're talking about, and I've also love to have that feeling back.
