      Hi,
I've started trying to get an LD again after a month break, and last night I was doing reality checks like every two minutes. A little overboard, I know. Well, I didn't have an LD, but at one point, after I had woken up in the middle of the night, I was lying in bed and I started feeling this weird tingling sensation all over my body and I felt a little dizzy/drifty. It intensified and then I kind of went 'What's going on!' and it went away. What I was wondering is: Was I possibly starting to WILD? I wasn't trying to, but it certainly felt like something weird was happening. I've never tried WILDing before, so I really don't know what I'd feel like if I was.

You were indeed. The tingly sensation you were beginning to feel was sleep paralysis, in which your body becomes paralysed to stop you from acting out dreams with your real body.

I'd probably develop this, because WILD is known as the holy grail of lucid dreaming. If you can master WILD, you can have lucid dreams at will.
