Yesterday I had a 2 hour long LD. I'm not sure if it was actually 2 hours long, but it felt like it. One of the many things I did was attempt to fly (again.) It seems that all I can do is HUGE leaps, but I can't really fly. I tried so hard, but I couldn't glide off the floor. I have a fear of heights, and when I did a huge leap, my stomach dropped since I was so high up and it felt so real.

I honestly can't tell the difference between real life and lucid dreaming, in fact I think lucid dreaming is somehow MORE real for me. I actually sat in a chair and studied the dreamworld for a bit, and I could not tell the difference at all.

I actually got bored halfway through the dream since I couldn't think of what I wanted to do since flying wasn't working, so I went and talked to people.

Is there any advice you guys could give me about flying with a fear of heights? I wanna get over my fear, but every time I attempt to fly I get a little scared since it feels so real.

Try a trampoline! As long as you're having fun, you probably won't even notice how high you can get. Or have someone constantly assuring you that you can do it.

You could materialize a web or a parachutes. In my experience when I´ve fall in a LD I was allways get up so you can tell yourself that if you dont fly well you´ll get up. You can also try to start with big leaps.
Do or do not, there is no sense in trying.

Have you tried just jumping off a cliff? Honestly, thats always been the best way for me. I just go jump off a cliff high over some cool city landscape and float over it.
