Almost Wild... Maybe

I've had a few lucid dreams, and have fairly good dream recall, so I decided to try a WILD. On my first try, I failed miserably, and just fell asleep. On my second try, I'm not quite sure how well I did. A few minutes into it, I'm not sure how long (maybe 10 minutes, maybe 30), I began to hear a high pitched buzzing, almost a screech, and my entire body felt weird, slightly fuzzy. Then, it stopped abruptly. After another few minutes, it began again, then stopped again. Then, I fell asleep. Was this HI, or something else entirely? Thanks

From what I've heard in HI you see images as if they were infront of you. I have never WILDed myself but I've read a lot on what people have said and it seems that they all hear very loud noises and get vibrations all over their body so it sounds entirely normal to me. Did you manage to enter a lucid dream or did you stop?
