Sorry if it was already discussed here.

I wonder what is everyone's technique to remembering Lucid Dreams? I suppose that every dream (including lucid or lucid vivid one) is stored in the part of the memory that is not easily accesable for a good reason (to not mistaken it for real memories). Ok, you can remember the dream when you wake up and then someone can write it down (which I don't do, simply that I can remember the best ones) but if you don't write any "dream diary" do you have any trick how to remember the details?

Mine is that I start right in the dream, and somehow I can store it to the easier accesable memory (so I can remember the picture) but not the one that could be mistaken for real memories. I remember many of my dreams, but the vivid ones are the hardest, from them I can remember only fragments. The plot or story is easier to remember from the non vivid lucid dreams for a longer time.

Why not keep a journal? I used to not keep one either because I was happy with my recall.
The thing is, it sounds like it would be such a hassle, but it really isn't once you get into the habit of it.

      nice sig eminence.

i dont memorize LD's, they simply come more easy to me because of the increased vividness and excitement.

I was thinking about writing a journal, I did for a limited time when I was a kid. Maybe it would be good to start again, I'll think about that.

I guess that the memories of vivid LDs fade away easy just like memories of normal dreams. I believe it's for a good reason though.

thats interesting, i just thought of a good idea... if i have an LD in the later periods of the night, near morning, I think I will wake myself up so the dream seems more vivid and awesome then after hours of sleeping AFTER the dream... anyone think this would work? because you have a good point, CloudOne, vivid LD's do fade even if they seem more vivid then other dreams.
