      people are annoying

something has been bothering me recently...alot of people have, over time, posted topics with supposed sure-fire ways to attain lucidity, or other such similar sure-fire things. Lucid Dreaming is a thing each individual has to learn in their own unique way, as humans are unique individuals, no one method is going to work for everyone...we arent algorithems, we arent equations. you cant expect something to work the same for everyone, please stop trying to invent ways to do things like lucid dreaming that supposedly work for everyone...something that may help you is good to share, but dont assume it will work for everyone...

I have not seen anyone really say they know a sure fire way to become lucid. Though some are overly positive, I don't think they are really that bad. I know what you mean though, I find a lot of the things really hard.

what it is is that most people when they learn how to do it, they're excited and assume their way is the way to go, so they go about "spreading the gospel" on how they achieved ld. which is fine by me, i like reading other people's techniques. i've had most of my luck with reality checks myself but like you and everybody else has said, everybody is different.

Yes, some people get on a roll and "spread the gospel," kinda like Skateboard's double message there.

Dude, Werburn, when I was going to post, I first thought you were Truthbearer. It's just that...I forget who I'm talkin to.

I'm going to say there is no universal sure-fire way to get to Lucid Dreaming. Everything is essentially a guideline, I would say. I like how Lucius puts it, to respect techniques, but it's ultimately a feeling or a sense of lucid dreaming, whatever you may call it. Sometimes, techniques may appear to insult our intelligence, like saying we can't lucid dream w/o reality checks...but, I hear you Werburn, everything for everyone is different. That's what makes us special.

Really! Truthbearer, you're one of the few people I know really well on the forum... when I get done reading one of WerBurn's messages, thinking it's yours, I'll get confused when I read the screenname... lol

Yeah Werburn, people stealing avatars, now THAT is annoying.
But other than that yeah sometimes its annoying when people try to present their point of view as the absolute truth. I always try to start off with "in my opinion" etc.

It kind of balances itself out; you see, most people's "Get Lucid Quick" techniques just end up being "stay awake for seven days straight and drink nothing but melatonin enriched plutonium grade banana juice."

If THAT works for you, go for it, but I think I'd rather stick to my own methods.

Sure it will not work for everybody, but it offers you a new method to try.

      And you may become successful.

For example a vitamin b6 method by LucidOne = works ALL the time for me and produces very high lucidity dreams. Which is great, because now I can become lucid anytime I want!

      energy?

      google.com stuff:
Vitamin B6 also helps maintain your blood glucose (sugar) within a normal range. Your body needs vitamin B6 to make hemoglobin. The nervous and immune systems need vitamin B6 to function efficiently.. etc

I think it helps give u teh lucid dreams; I really don't think it matters at all as it's a weak chemical
