Eye Twitching...

Last night, after watching a vid. on youtube on how to correctly WILD, I gave it a shot -
Only I did the technique without actually WILDing - meaning I didn't really wake myself up at 4AM, I just tried it out when I was really tired in bed.

Anyway, the idea is to imagine that when you close your eyes, what you see is real vision, but right outside your line of vision is your "imganative" vision or something like that. Anyway, the trick is to try and merge the two by sliding your imgainitive vision in front of your real vision (which is just blackness or HI)

So I gave it a shot, and tried to "see" the # 5. Didn't really work, but I do know is that after doing it for a while, my eyes began to twitch like CRAZY.

I know this is apparently what REM is like, but I really didn't understand that not only was I only in bed for 20 minutes, but still awake, and yet I could feel my eyes going crazy. I couldn't even open my eyes cuz I was so tired.

What do you guys suppose it was? BTW I was hella tired during the whole thing, usually I can't keep my eyes shut, but last night they were like locked tight!

Good news- you were doing it right. Unfortunately this happens to a lot of people who WILD. Me for instance. It's a part of sleep paralysis, I've heard.
What I do is wear a sleeping mask to bed when I plan on trying to WILD. It makes it dark enough so that if your eyes open a little it won't hurt your progress, plus the extra pressure on your eyes is usually enough to keep them from opening .
