i have never-ever felt pain in a dream before even when i was being pulled apart atom by atom, until now. Last night i had a dream where some guy took that old long razor to me and i actually felt pain, when it sliced my finger. Later on in another dream, i remember feeling pain, but nothing concrete.

So, can pain in dreams be developed(unwillingly)? since i've heard that some people do feel pain in dreams.

Of course. Much like gradually increasing awareness, pain can be developed. Before I learned about LDing, in my dreams (1-3 a year, most either nightmares or epic dreams) I felt no pain, or touch, at all. I could jump in water, but it would still feel like I was not there. However, as I researched general dreaming and LDing, I found that I felt more and more. I atribute this to the fact that, since we are actually concentrated on dreaming, we become more aware, and therefore, our mind uses past examples in dreams.

But if you have never had the sensastion of, for example, being shot, your mind makes up what it would feel like, contributing to many of the weird feelings our dreamers report. So yes, pain goes hand in hand with recall, awareness, and vividness.

I believe so, because I have felt other physical sensations before, like drunkenness, and effects from other drugs. Sometimes I feel highs from drugs that don't exist! I have felt temperature and texture... Have you ever heard a song that you know in your sleep? It sounds perfect. Your brain records it, and replays it exactly.
There was one dream that I swore I could feel pain in, too.
---o--- my DCs say I'm dreamy.

For some reason the amount of attacks i've been having in dreams is rising at a steep pace, but i cannot find any reason from this reality why that could be so.
Last night was another weird night, but in an ambivalent way - i had 3 moments of lucidity(the most i've had per night this far), but all of them ended as soon as i did a reality check (or straight after). Yet i've noticed that i can know i'm lucid but not doing a reality check for a long time without losing awareness and fading back into the dream - as soon as i reality check, the dreamscape starts fading and i feel my physical body in my bed.

A week or so ago when i was lucid i jumped into a river just to feel what it felt like, but i don't remember feeling water at all - this perplexed me for some days after the dream.
So taking into consideration that consciously i want to feel more in dreams and fortifying my awareness by repeating throughout the day that this is but a dream (when i do this - i actually know i am in a dream, with certainty, i don't use empty words), i am in the process of vividifing my dreams? Indeed, now that i think about it, sensory perception in my dreams has always been pretty low.

All the music i hear in my dreams - i could swear i haven't heard them before. Pieces of music on the organ, snatches of symphonic masterpieces and a few nights ago (everything seems t be happening a few nights ago ) i had a vild in dild moment, which was accompanied by an orchestral piece with a choir singing in the background (smth lotr'ish, but not quite) that i couldn't stop.

I can never stay dreaming after feeling pain, If I ever get hit, cut, or crushed I always immediately wake up, gotta work on that.
