Although I'm quite excited to have already had numerous lucid dreams in only about 2 weeks after a 2 year lapse in practice, I'm getting frustrated. Every time I become lucid, I never seem to...be THAT lucid. It's really vivid and I understand that I'm dreaming, but my brain doesn't seem to work quite as logically as it could. I just can't ever remember to stop and count to 10 or do multiplication in my head. I even forget to observe my surroundings carefully, which always seems to make my dreams clearer. And also, I never seem to be able to find something to do? I just wander around looking for things to do or people to see, without really...expecting to find them/meet them (I think that goes along with the low-level lucidity). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

First remember: Every LD is a great LD. If you lose cofidence, if you start judging LD's, they may stop alltogethor. Cofidence is vital, it is basically a placebo.

But I digress. If you want more ludicity, scream, as loud as you can, "INCREASE LUDICITY NOW. I AM FULLY AWARE." Really beleive it will happen. In my dreams, this has produced immeadiate results.

This may work, but how do you remember to do that?

I just end up having an urge to run around looking for something to do, without really knowing what I'm looking for.

Do you know what I mean?

Hey TheBeagle, I do know what you mean. I have been having regular l'ds lately (at last, and so pleased) expect I'm still waiting for me to one day to STOP and REALISE that I'm dreaming therefore I'm in complete control, and to make it vivid as real life.

Like you, I wonder around trying to do something and if something weird happens, I forget that I'm lucid...

So keep at it, and remind yourself: to become AWARE.

Thats what I'm trying to do.
