I have the same problem - I just don't remember... heres what I do:

Set my alarm to wake me up at 3:00 and 5:00. Whilst I'm going to sleep I say to myself "I will remember my dreams" over and over. When I wake up at 3:00 and 5:00, I try hard to remember what my dreams were. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't

A few things, it can take ages for people to lucid dream first, hell it's not that unusual for it take take longer.

Also, trying to force it seems to have negative effects on lucid dreaming. While it's obviously okay to spend time and effort trying to lucid dream, it's sometimes better to just stck to the journal and reality checks, not obsessing too much. People tend to have sucess that way.

      Quoted for truth.

D's right, you can't FORCE yourself to remember your dreams, or FORCE yourself to have a lucid dream. If you're having trouble, that's OK, nearly everyone here had trouble at first, including me.

Slow down, or if you want, take a few days break from trying to remember your dreams. Trust me, I know how hard it can be to take something as amazing as lucid dreaming so casually, but if you stress about it and push yourself to have immediate results, you'll only hinder your progress.

      Good luck.

You can try different ways to LD.. like MILDS FILDS DILDS WILDS , introduce Reality Checks into your life, those help a LOT! check out the tutorials, read through everything at the beginning of the site. those help out too, which is what most nOObs are sposd to do, read through those b4 they ask questions, but thats alrite i didnt do it either till a couple months in.. but if you practice sufficiently and try, they'll start to come naturally.. good luck!

Have you tried any of the methods listed in the tutorials section? If so which did you try?

You just gotta keep at it, I've been trying to LD for over 2 years now and still have to make an effort for awhile before I have one. Some people just have more trouble, just read as much as you can and keep at it.

i think this is totally right. when i re-started lucid dreaming i was going crazy trying to have LDs and nothing worked until one night i just thought i'll just sleep and if i have a LD it'll just be sweet. that night i had my first LD (lasted almost 5 min!!&#33 and even a second shorter one. and just last night (after few days of doing RCs as much as possible) i had another ld that was 3 in 1 week. so i just think sticking to RCs is one of the best ways to go

Lefkos.. you're trying too hard and are too excited. It can be difficult to LD if you're concentrating too much. From what I've read, seeing as you have already concentrated on it, I think it would be best for you now to forget it, especially before going to bed. So many people report their first LD after "giving up" on it (myself included) that there must be something in it. Just don't try too hard.

When I started out I was attempting to "astral project" for a month, which is almost the same as the WILD technique. No success. I could write books with my dream recall but could not become lucid either. I became tired and took a break from it. A few months later I had 4 lucid dreams in a week totally by chance; the third one being the most amazing one ever.

Just loosen up. It is almost a certainty you have a mental block. Just take comfort in knowing they will come, because they will.

if you focus on not being able to have a ld thats what youll keep getting, jus keep focusing and saying you will have one and imagine how it will go and feel
maybe the ultimate dream is when we wake up after death to realise it was a dream.

Don't keep telling yourself that you won't have a lucid dream, tell yourself that you will have a lucid dream. Every night, before you go to bed, tell yourself that you are going to sleep and you are going to have a lucid dream. Don't put a mind block on yourself, if you say you can't do it then you won't do it.

Keep practicing with the different techniques. Remember that it can take quite a long time to master just one technique. Since your new just try a bunch and stick with them for a while.

And remember to do your reality checks, they always help!

Dont worry, keep up the hard work,, It Will happen. I took me for 4 months of hard work, to get my first LD.. so be pacient..

my recomendation form my expierence is to do RCs like Crazy like 50 per day..jaja.
and dont push it let Lds come naturally..but keep your focus on what one whant to achieve...

      (work on FILD,MILD)
(try to relax deeply before you go to sleep, 61 point relaxation, and set your intention)

      Good luck

      dream lucid...

well i think about it 8 times a day nd in bed i only think of succeeding in it
and i imagine what it its
a sample what i imagine: i see just normal life with everything the same as in reallife exept that i have super powers and i can do every thing i want.
must i think of something more oddly or is this possible?
and i do RC every hour(exept on school or in situations i just cant believe its true like i got an A for maths thats just impossible my math teacher said why are you holding 1 hand on your face are you crying? no i do a RC and she looked weird to me sorry for the whole story )
