As far as any one knows lucid dreaming cant give you epilepsy. If the lights bug you just try it the normal way, with dream signs and stuff. Theres no reason you should have to stop trying. |

I haven't been on for a while because on thursday I had a grand mal seizure. They don't know precisely what it is yet, but it's much more likely to be epilepsy than anything else. *Urgh*. Anyway, my family are highly dissaproval of my lucid dreaming antics now, as they suspect it may be a cause. And besides, the only way I would be able to get any decent lucid dreams would be via a NovaDreamer-esque sleeping mask full of flashing lights - if that doesn't throw me into a fit, nothing will. |

The fact I only ever have partial blindness and other weird stuff when I wake up worries me a little, though. I too doubt that lucid dreaming is the culprit, it's much more likely to be my cerebral palsy. But now I can't take the 'easy route' because that would give me seizure after seizure, and I'm feeling a litle down. |
